Im Gilbert E. Got admitted here for rehab and come to find out my sister who i havent seen for 2yrs was also admitted here. I was so surprise and so happy to see her so blessed thanks God that im with my sister together we both doing therapy. I don't have an account. So I asked the activity director that I want to write and share my experienced here while I'm still here. This facility is compatible like a 5 star hotel, motel, holiday Inn. The service here like nurses they all polite, always carry a smile and they always meet my expectations specially the care they provide. Kitchen dept . The food is good and some feels like homemade. Housekeeping and maintenance are awesome. Activity dept..was fun and provides a lot of activity materials. All in all I thank God that I got admitted here and recommend it. I'm happy for the services they provide for me and my sister. The residents here are nice and like I said from the beginning I thanks God to see and be with my sister. We both here receiving wonderful services and therapy we needed. Awesome staff and customer care.

This place is very cold especially during Jan - Apr of 2023 when there was a cold spell going thru NorCal. There's no heat or kept at around 60. To save the environment yes, but for sick, weak and elderly and helpless patients? Upon request, they just gave you more worn out cotton blankets about 1/4 inch thicker than a regular bedsheet, which amounted to very little. No fresh fruit, but canned. No personal hygiene essential on day of arrival, like tooth brush or paste till couple days after. So bring your own at least the first couple of days. Medication maybe delayed due to long distance from drug store. Staffing ratio is 1 staff for 12 patients. The PT did nothing to teach or coach the patient, The bathroom is shared with 4 people, and one would have to hike up the seat even if you happen to be short, or if you are at high risk and already need help. Family had a hard time getting hold of staff with multiple phone calls, staffing shortage.

BEWARE: Devonshire Oaks Nursing Center in Redwood City CA. PATIENT MEDICATION MIX-UP. BAD PRACTICE. DISCLOSED PROTECTED HEALTH INFORMATION. UNSAFE AND WORSE place to leave your loved ones. I would give them zero star if I could because that’s what they deserve as far as I’m concern. The administrator and the director of nursing LACK compassion and most importantly they LACK professionalism. The administrator (Rose) told us that mistakes such giving wrong medication to patients happens all the time and that they are only humans and such mistakes are not a big issue for her. Instead of taking full responsibility for the error that her staff made, she blamed the pharmacist for giving another patients blood pressure medicine (Telmisartan). Irresponsible and PUTTING PATIENTS LIVES IN DANGER. Overall, VERY POOR quality of service this facility and it’s staff including the management provides to their patients. I wouldn’t even recommend my enemy to go to this facility or leave their loved ones at this place. Do NOT go to this place.

I know Skilled Nursing Facilities. The staff here really care for their patients, they did an excellent job caring for my aunt. The Social Worker Olga was simply amazing in her competent and caring manner. Bernadette the Director and A Chand rock, actually all the caregivers were kind and considerate.
