Delta Retirement Center will always hold a special place in my heart. My Great Grandma Betty Thompson worked there doing 3rd shifts and my Grandma Joyce Thompson was a care giver supervisor. When I was little my great grandma & my grandma would bring me there to see the residents. Keep up the amazing work you do for the community of Delta Township.

This retirement center provides a warm, welcoming environment with friendly staff and comfortable accommodations. The amenities are excellent, including social activities, nutritious meals, and healthcare services. Residents feel safe and valued, fostering a strong sense of community. Overall, it's a wonderful place for seniors seeking quality care and companionship.

I would say that this place is fine if you’re an able body and just want to retire somewhere. It’s got a beautiful fireplace and activities. If you’re in need of assistance this is not the place to go. You rarely see staff, they are not checking on their residents, they do not respond to calls for assistance in a timely fashion, your loved one could wait as long as an hour before someone comes to help them after pushing their button for help, also breakfast is not available without hefty extra charge. The pricy of your time there fluctuates it’s never the same. It’s not handicap accessible the door ways are far to narrow and the bathrooms are very tight. They don’t use gate belts to help residents transfer so safety is a concern as well. They don’t report falls by either letting family know or hospice know. I would not suggest this place to anyone that needs assistance. The kitchen staff are friendly and helpful. The aids change hands constantly there’s no consistency.

I would say if you can take care of yourself then it's a nice place it's clean and nice inside. now if you need assistance then it's not the place for your love one. bathroom is not handicap accessible aides do not respond to call light at an adequate time. no breakfast just lunch and dinner. you don't see aides hardly ever in halls it's like they hide out somewhere. lunch staff is friendly and helpful.

We had a very pleasant tour of the facility. It was very nice but is a little dated. The cost, in comparison to other facilities, is lower. The employees were very nice and the residents seemed to be very well taken care of and engaged. We have chosen a different facility just due to the location of the other facility being closer to family. If this facility would have been closer to family we would have had a harder decision to make.
