There aren't enough words to describe the horror this place has put upon my parents who chose this place. My dad died in 2021 after failed CPR was administered by the incompetent staff. My mom initially went there after a broken ankle for rehabilitation. That never happened and now after approximately 8 years, she is bedridden in hospice care. During this time they forced the sale of her home and have ran through over $300k. They are money hungry! My brother and I live over 1-2 hours away so we call to get updates from time to time. It's almost impossible to get a nurse to get an update.The administration have attitudes when I try to talk to them. The horrendous smell of urine hits you as soon as you walk in the door. This nursing home is old and in terrible shape. It should be shut down! These patients should be taken care of in a better facility, especially after all the money that is demanded from the families.

This is the most in my opinion horrible unprofessional institution that needs the state to come in and shut them down. They let a family member get bed sores he also feel and asked to go to the hospital and was refused that right after hitting his head. Please do not let your family or friends be even your enemies go here!!!!!

If you care about your love ones I wouldn't put them in deer park. My has been there 2 times. The first time they didn't check her blood sugar and it got up 500. She was blind until I made them test her 2 times a day. I went up to see her this morning and she told me her sugar fell she them and they said you need some chocolate and the lady left and never came back. They don't care. They need new presonsonle there . Do not use deer park.

I would not give this rat hole a 1 if I was able! The most disgusting place to put a human ever. Bad service. My sister was there with pneumonia and they kept the air conditioning on her! She was almost lethargic by the second morning! There was no chair to sit in until I went and got one, no food trays to put your tray on, no soap, filthy toilets, sinks and bathrooms! Filthy rooms! It needs to be shut down.

At the moment I am leaving a three star my mother in law is in this facility.in the beginning was very rough but I do see changes happening with the care as the ownership hands have changed.progress takes time but it is happening.the building up keep seriously needs updated but…I do believe as we pop in unannounced periodically—that care of my mother in law is getting much better.also today I noticed a new housekeeper who actually greeted her,hugged her and made her smile…those small things are very huge things to her.so today is a three star and a thank you.hopefully next time as things change,so will my stars!!! Keep up the improvements.good job
