Doug Adkins and Dayspring Village serve a very important need to help people attain stability and stay safe and well. We are grateful that this assisted living facility was able to help a family member who needed help for almost a year. Dayspring provided a much-needed change from unhealthy choices/routines by providing healthier routine/structure, socialization, and a safe environment at this supportive housing facility in Hilliard, Florida. We hope and pray that our state and federal governments will do more to help people who need this type of care and environment in the future by creating legislation to focus on providing supportive housing for the mentally ill. Those who have diagnosed serious mental illnesses (SMI's) must go to the front of the line for help. Government type assistance and facilities like Doug's should be prioritized for financial aid and recognized for saving lives and helping society and families. We thank the great staff at Dayspring for their Godly work and their great service.
