Mom has been at ARCH for the last year. The Harue, Nori and care staff have all been very kind and caring. Since the food is more to mom's Japanese-palette she has even gained weight and enjoys talking with the staff. It's been a great weight lifted from my shoulders knowing that mom is in good hands.

Thanks to American River Care Home, my Mother-in-Law is living her best life. We had to find a home due to her dementia, and were referred here due to her being Japanese. This home best fit her needs and lifestyle to make her feel most comfortable. They speak Japanese as well, which elevated our experience and made Mom fit right in. The staff is very attentive, caring, and knowledgeable, as well as being communicative. We are able to visit anytime and so appreciate the care she is receiving!!

Thanks to ARCH for taking great care of my mother. She didn't want to leave her home but it wasn't safe for her any longer. Over time she has settled in and doesn't talk about moving back home. A big factor in her adjustment is she is Japanese and enjoys chatting with the other ladies. She only has good things to say about the staff. Thanks.

My aunt was a resident at American River Care Home for 10 years and the care givers and owners were like her extended family. My aunt mostly understood the Japanese language so having a caregiver who spoke Japanese made her feel very comfortable. I highly recommend American River Care home for the quality of care, comfort and support.

This review if for the 3817 Marconi Ave site. Nori Seki is the owner and manager of this care home and he does a fantastic job. We brought our Mom to the care home a little over a year ago and have been tremendously impressed and happy with the care she is getting. Nori, with the help of his daughter, Harue, take meticulous care of all of the residents to make sure they stay safe and happy as possible. They welcome family to visit at any time (although Covid restrictions did limit visits) and was able to schedule one outing to a park for a staff and family luncheon/picnic this past spring as Covid restrictions were slowly lifted. They have hired a wonderful staff that they have trained to care for our Mom as if she was their own mom. The food they serve (mostly Japanese dishes) look and smell delicious reminding us of our childhood growing up. Nori is very communicative about the on goings with our Mom to keep us up to date on her health and well being. We could not be happier with the care our Mom has received from Nori, Harue and the staff. We highly recommend American River Care Home.
