Elana Richey is the Visiting Angel Caregiver for my wife Anne Elliott who is in the advanced stages of Alzheimer's. Elana is to say the least OUTSTANDING! and very understanding of people with this terrible disease. She shows great respect for my wife and friendly at all times. She handles getting my wife out of bed toiletry issues showering dressing feeding and assisting my wife in anyway that she can. I learned just how lucky my wife and I are to have Elana when recently she was unable to provide care for a period of four days. Elana was involved in a traffic accident that was not her fault and fortunately she was not seriously hurt but her care was totaled. The replacement Caregiver was a nightmare and in my opinion should never be assigned to a client with Dementia or Alzheimer's and I've related this to Lorraine. I spent three years with Visiting Angels and valued the support I received from management. Since the role involved working one-on-one with individual clients, I worked independently most of the time, but the office team was consistently understanding and responsive whenever I needed assistance outside of client care. . In contrast to some of my previous roles, management was consistently understanding and respectful when it came to scheduling or calling out, which made a big difference in my overall experience. The role also allowed me to develop strong skills in reliability, communication, and providing compassionate care, and I always felt trusted and supported in my responsibilities.

The visiting angels of Sacramento recently cared for my loved one at our home in his final days. The compassion and love they gave to my father - who was a complete stranger to them just days ago - was astounding and truly God like. I will forever be in your debt for not only making him comfortable but also caring for my grieving mother at the same time. I would like to thank Estelle, Sarmahra, David, and Calen from the bottom of my heart for their professionalism and compassion. Thank you so much!

Visiting Angels has been a godsend during a very difficult time for our family. They have been more than professional, caring, thorough, proactive, strategic and kind. Our dad has always been a strong man and so being open to care did not come easily. It was only through the reliable, kind and consistent staff did our dad eventually become comfortable. From the very start the Visiting Angels caregivers were absolutely on point, providing just the most compassionate care, meal prep, bathing, driving and overall companionship. Each caregiver was professional and took direction well, always willing to pivot when the need arose. Also, as anyone with an aging parent knows, the elderly can present unique challenges including moodiness at best. Our dad is no exception and the Visiting Angels staff has been nothing short of incredible with him on more than a few occasions. I can’t thank Brian and the whole Visiting Angels crew enough for five-star care from start to finish. You will be in great hands if you choose to use them.
