Friendly and compassionate staff who dote on my parents. Staff are supportive of residents and family and address issues quickly. Front desk staff are especially helpful. Facility is clean and maintained. Great views of the waterfront.

I cannot express enough how impressed I am with the care and compassion shown by the entire team at cypress creek assisted living. From the moment you walk through the doors, you are immediately struck by the warmth and kindness that radiates from every member of the staff. It’s not just the job they do—it’s the love and dedication they bring to their work every single day. Each resident is treated like family, and it’s clear that every member of the team truly knows and cares for the individual needs, preferences, and personalities of those in their care. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure that every detail of a resident’s experience is attended to. What stands out most is the genuine compassion that flows through every interaction. The caregivers don’t just help—they actively listen, they understand, and they create an environment where each person feels valued and respected. Whether it’s a kind word, a helping hand, or a listening ear, the team makes every effort to make the residents feel loved and cared for. The smiles and positive energy in the facility are contagious, and it’s clear that the staff genuinely love what they do. The team at cypress creek Assisted living is a model of excellence in senior care, and they set the bar incredibly high when it comes to attention to detail. They are always looking for ways to make life better for the residents—whether that’s ensuring their rooms are comfortable, helping them stay active, or simply making sure they are surrounded by people who care about them. The sense of community and care they provide is nothing short of remarkable. If you’re looking for a place where your loved ones will be treated with dignity, respect, and true compassion, this is the place. They are so much more than caregivers—they are family.

Nov 15, 2025 will be one year since my mom became a resident at Cypress Creek. The owner takes pride in this facility and is constantly striving in making improvements. Cafeteria food is good. Housekeeping does a great job. Med techs and aides are efficient, caring, and kind.

I have nothing but positive things to say about our experience with Cypress Creek: For some context, I have an infirm and elderly grandmother who has spent the better part of the past 6 years in various assisted living facilities across Anne Arundel County. (She is not a permanent resident at these facilities but stays temporarily, either after a medical incident requiring rehab or when her at-home caretakers are unavailable). Suffice to say, we've seen the vast majority of facilities throughout central AA County, and Cypress Creek is by far one of the best. Things we like: - First and foremost, the staff. Everyone from the director to the front desk staff to the nurses are so warm, caring, and attentive. This is the major point of distinction between Cypress and other facilities, where staff may present smiles to visiting family but can lack responsiveness to the needs of residents. At other facilities, you sometimes worry how your beloved family member will be treated after guests have left - not so with Cypress. My grandmother reports that the staff respond each and every time she pages for assistance, and never let frustration show with residents no matter the task (and anyone caring for an elder knows sometimes patience and a strong stomach are needed in equal measure - The food. My grandmother is a notoriously picky eater. We have seen her turn aside seemingly delicious-looking food at these facilities, but at Cypress she finishes most all of her meals (not everything of course, but better than almost anywhere else). More than that, the lack of complaining tells us the food is truly quality! - The facilities, which are renovated, clean, and modern. I admittedly haven't toured the whole building, but the resident rooms I have seen are spacious and accommodating, with large bathrooms, dressers for clothes, a big closet, and a mini fridge. - The view! Cypress Creek sits adjacent to its namesake, and if you are lucky enough to have room facing out over the water, you can get some gorgeous views. Many rooms even come with a balcony to truly appreciate the scene. Even if your room isn't water facing, you can still tour the lovely grounds (which are all appropriately fenced high to keep residents from wandering). - Lastly, they allow visiting pets, and the staff are very welcoming to furry friends! Being able to bring my dog in to see my grandma has been the highlight of her time here. It's amazing how something so seemingly small can have such an outsized impact. All in all, this has been our favorite assisted living facility of about 10 that we have experienced. While not 10/10 on every single measure of satisfaction, the combined well-roundedness it offers alongside caring and supporting staff make it a place we are sure to return to every time we need extended stays for our grandma. Thanks for reading, hope this review helped!
