I was searching for an assisted living home for my mom and planned to visit Crown Point Assisted Living, but they weren't open yet. I noticed the building next door was also an assisted living facility, so I stopped in to take a look. As it turns out, it's owned by the same people as Crown Point Assisted Living!<br><br>Even though it was later in the evening, the staff was sitting with most of the residents playing Uno — it was such a warm and welcoming sight. I had never seen anything like it before. Coming from a large facility background, I wasn't used to seeing that kind of personal interaction and care. It truly felt like a home, not just a facility.<br><br>I toured the place and ended up enrolling my mom there. So glad I stopped in!
