Like anyone reading this, I looked at reviews and also visited several places in Delta, Montrose and Mesa counties before choosing to move my mother to Crossroads Memory Care Center. My mother needed a loving place that provided lock-down security, as she wanders occasionally and gets lost and confused. Crossroads Memory Care was a very pleasant surprise. The facility was clean, orderly and the staff were friendly, happy and professional. My mother has been a resident for five months now and I stop in multiple times a week at a variety of times. Every time I arrive the place is spotless! The team allowed us to decorate my mother's room to make it homey and my mother loved it right away. That level of comfort allowed us (her family) to breathe a sigh of relief. "If Mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy," goes the saying, and we were thrilled that she fit in so well and quickly and remains quite happy there. The facility has a beautful outdoor courtyard that we enjoyed having picnics in when the weather permitted. There is a gazebo in the middle of it and plenty of seating. Residents and their families are allowed to come and go as they please with watchful eyes so that they remain safe while enjoying the outdoors. The gardens outside are beautiful and well kept. In the winter, the large windows allow residents and their families a wonderful ability to relax and simply gaze at the beautiful outdoors while staying warm inside. Indoors, there are lots of comfortable areas for visitors to gather and meet. On one side is a very large acquarium which is calming, well stocked and well kept. On the other side is a very large glassed-in bird cage with lots of finches and canaries darting in and out of nesting areas. My mother enjoys watching them often. We've attended two holiday dinners at Crossroads with my mother and both were outstanding. The meals are beautifully prepared and eating together is an activity we missed, so it was great to have that ability. Mom thinks it is a restaurant so she feels pampered to be able to "eat out" every day. It does feel like an upscale restaurant and not a cafeteria. The staff have kept in close contact with me whenever Mom has any issues that need attention. She recently had shingles and the staff were so kind to her. When we visited other facilities, the residents were often not able to interact much (due to loss of verbal skills, not Covid restrictions). I have been very happy to visit and find Mom in lively discussions with other residents. They all share a similar level of dementia, repeat stories and such - but to each other, that companionship makes living here pleasant. I am very happy with this facility, their staff and their refreshing spin on what for most people is a dreaded advancement with their loved ones. My only regret is that I did not place my mother here sooner. ***UPDATE**** I wrote that last review in 2022. My mother is still alive and thriving at this facility and I would not change a word of my review. (I'm adding this because some of you are shopping and might be worried that a lot can change in a large gap between reviews.)

I cannot say enough good things about this facility. Our family had to make the difficult decision to move my grandmother there and I can say without a doubt, that Crossroads is the only place I would have put my grandma- because I love her so much and know she deserves THE BEST- which is what Crossroads is. From the moment we stepped on to the property for our first tour to this moment (in which my grandma is still a resident) I cannot say enough how amazing Crossroads is. The staff are some of the most kind, sincere and genuine people I have ever met. I get frequent text messages with photos of my grandma and I am always relieved to see how happy she looks- which is all because of how well she is treated and cared for by the staff. Crossroads has not only made my grandmas life better, but mine and my moms as well, as we are able to rest assured knowing that she is exactly where she should be- at this phase of life. I am forever grateful to Crossroads and their incredible staff for ALL that they have done for our family.

Crossroads Assisted Living Center in Delta, CO is truly an exceptional option for someone needing any or all the wonderful amenities they provide. It is pleasant in every way an assisted living center ought to be. Impeccably clean place operated by very friendly, considerate, helpful staff. It is attractively laid out, with spacious hallways to walk indoors around the large beautiful courtyard in the center, which is surrounded by many huge glass windows. The courtyard is amazingly beautiful Spring through Autumn, adorned by lush vegetation. We love spending a lot of time with my Honey’s Mom often outdoors in the comfortable gazebo in the center for nice long visits in the pristine weather, surrounded by well maintained plants. It is very mentally and physically comforting for residents and visitors together to enjoy the warm sun and lack of wind given the intelligently designed courtyard layout. Comfortable couches and chairs indoors are conveniently placed in front of the high-quality floor to ceiling windows, which are always clean and crystal-clear. These large windows provide wonderful attractive views of the outdoors. This is most convenient in winter, or when it is too cool outside for most residents to enjoy being outdoors. The warm seasons however make the courtyard an exceptional place to enjoy a lot of pleasant time visiting outdoors When my Honey and I join her Mom for holiday celebrations, the meals are exceptional for both residents and visitors alike. Very high-quality, well-presented meals are provided with many special touches on holidays, which my Honey and I greatly enjoy with her Mom. Examples of these meals include prime rib, traditional Thanksgiving offerings, etc. There are also Halloween parties, NFL gatherings, and often great classic TV shows on in the main gathering area with a large television for residents and visitors to enjoy together. The memory care area of Crossroads is where my Honey’s Mom has to be, and it was most advantageous being able to completely decorate her room with familiar comforting items. We outfitted her room with many of her own things to make it very inviting and comfortable to be in. These sorts of familiarities ease her well-being, and continue to keep her room a restful place of mental peace. We visit her several times a week, plus holidays of course as mentioned above and are always comfortable sitting in her room with her when she wants to be in there instead. It is very apparent and obvious the incredible extent Crossroads devotes to maintaining every bit of the entire property inside and out. The manicured lawn is always perfect, with nary a blade of grass of out of place, as cleanliness is an obvious priority. Spotless is an accurate description of the entire property, inside and out. If you know of someone in need of an assisted living center, Crossroads of Delta, CO IS the right choice and the right answer. Worth every cent. If I ever need an assisted living center myself, I would definitely move into Crossroads Assisted Living Center of Delta, CO without hesitation. To re-emphasize, Crossroads is remarkable and exceptional in every way. Absolutely a FIVE star assisted living center. For anyone looking to place a dear relative and/or friend in the best assisted living center, you can stop searching as you just found his or her new home at Crossroads. - Chuck

Our aunt has been at Crossroads for about 3 years and she has flourished. We could not ask for more caring people than the entire staff at Crossroads. The facility is always clean and the staff is positive. It is a warm and inviting home for our aunt.
