Excellent nursing home. Ive been here a few weeks now and this the best nursing home Ive been in and l have been in about 10 different places since my stroke over 3 years ago. Place is nice and clean. Food is decent and some things they make very well. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. Therapy is top notch here!<br>Edit: Had to. Change rating to 1 star after the past 2 days here. Saturday, July 4th I was experiencing sharp stabbing pain in my lower left side to which I told the aide and the nurse and requested a ambulance be called. They left me lay there for hours and the pain got so bad I finally called for an ambulance myself. I then get scolded like a child for calling 911 and they even threatened to take my phone away if I called 911 again. I keep my phone on me in case of incidents like this. The ambulance came and took me to the e.r. and tests determined I had a rather large kidney stone and a bad infection that needed to be treated with iv antibiotics. Crestwood Ridge probably would have left me continue to lay there in extreme pain overnight. If the infection would have gone septic they mostly likely wouldn't have cared by the way they were acting. Its sad when nursing homes neglect and abuse elderly and/or disabled residents they have entrusted in their care. This is despicable and innescsable. Unfortunately it takes people dying in these places for anything to be done to them.
