Unless you live close enough to check on your love ones daily, don’t put them in Cottonwood, they will not answer the phone , you will fight them tooth and nail to protect your love one, if your love one gets sick they will let them lay there sick for two weeks before they ever send them to the hospital, the only good person I have met in that nursing home is a nurse name April. I do not recommend this nursing home at all.

One of the nurses was so rude and disrespectful to my family and grandmother I highly, highly recommend taking your loved one somewhere else. If I could leave negative stars I would.

I don’t care what their website says…don’t…just don’t. My mother was only there for rehab, thankfully. It was the most horrible experience of our lives. Good thing I live close and could check on her several times a day. The list is too long to even get in to. So disappointing to think our loved ones could be treated so poorly. Literally walked in to my mother crying one day, she is not an openly emotional person. I held her while she cried. She said she would rather be dead than be stuck in a place like this. She said she had never, in her life, been treated so poorly. My heart was broken. The only positive thing I have to say is, her meals were always on time and she said they were pretty good. I truly wish I could say good things, but I can’t. Makes me so sad for those that are living their last days in this facility.
