I SHOULDVE NEVER HAD TO RESCUE MY OWN MOTHER. My older mother was transferred here after a nervous breakdown left her needing support while I was in college. She contracted C.Diff THREE TIMES, one of which I had to discern myself over the phone when my mom forgot my birthday and that my dad had passed. She was so confused & scared to bother the people whose SOLE PURPOSE was to care for residents. It was to the point I had to call the facility and threaten to send an ambulance, file a report, and follow up with legal action to make them get her medical attention. She spent THREE MONTHS in isolation for that round of C.Diff. They were unprofessional and rude to me, her daughter, for insisting that they were neglecting a patient. They were understaffed often asking, and even repeatedly bothering, residents they believed were capable of more physical tasks, often implying they were just lazy adults, to perform employee duties such as kitchen and janitorial tasks. If these residents refused the requests they would be treated with contempt and disdain. My mother was often left to sit in her room alone, covered in dirt and grime, dirty clothes, greasy or matted hair, and all areas of hygiene were neglected so egregiously that she suffered CHRONIC UTI’s that put her into psychosis. My mother was so traumatized by this facility that she felt she was a burden to me, THE WOMAN SHE GAVE LIFE TOO. This is possibly the worst facility I’ve ever had the displeasure of witnessing. If you care about your loved ones then avoid this facility and any others connected to it in any way like the plague.

Let my mother-in-law lay in a wet bed and when she told them she was sick they told her to go lay down in her room she fell at nurses station busted her lip they told her to go to bed again then she fell in her room that's when they decided to send her to the hospital

My dad was transferred to this facility. His DVD player was stolen on day 1. He suspected the staff. He said there’s a street hustler living there and selling drugs out of the facility. He was given crack cocaine by another resident and got drunk daily on whiskey brought in by another resident. He said it’s full of old dope fiends and that the staff is just as doped up aa the residents. He got into an altercation with another resident who grabbed his cane and hit him in the face twice. At that point my dad hit him in the head with his cane and the police were called. My dad was charged with Assault with a deadly weapon.
