Rosie and Lisa did all they could. Dad was only on hospice 11 days. Had we known the nurse available was 1.5 hours away we would’ve used some place else. Had we know we wouldn’t get a single supply besides a bed until 3 days before my dad passed, we would’ve used someone else. Everything we had including a bedside commode, pads to lay on the bed, disposable underwear, wipes, were all given to us by friends and family because nothing came until he was almost gone and even a box of supplies delivered the day he died. We had nurse friends helping us more than the hospice. The first nurse, Crystal, that showed up came empty handed. There was no pamphlets, no phone numbers, no advice left for my mother and us children who were looking after my dad. We were told dad would be scheduled for a bath and after 4 days we found out no one scheduled dad at all but Jennifer called us and came the next day to bathe him. My mom was alone with dad when he took his last breath and it was me who checked for his pulse to find he had passed and Rosie was contacted and came as quickly as possible considering she was 75 miles away. Lisa was extremely helpful, and did all she could to help us. I don’t recommend this place. We loved Rosie and Lisa and Jennifer. We appreciate all they tried to do and did for us. But as far as getting help in a timely manner and what steps to take to help dad find comfort and even just having some sort of information or phone numbers not left by first nurse Crystal-we were extremely disappointed. And to add to an update, my deceased father’s medical supplies (bed pads etc.) have just been delivered today. My dad passed away 12 days ago.
