While hosting a Thanksgiving activity today where I dressed as a turkey and went room to room and took picture with resident, we asked the residents what they were thankful for this Thanksgiving. A majority of them said they were thankful for the great care they receive at Senior Village. They were thankful for their families and the family they have formed at Senior Village. What a blessing that they are all cared for so tenderly and compassionately.

Senior Village is fortunate to have an employee like Lisa who displays true dedication to her work by taking the time to explain things clearly while keeping me updated on my mom's well-being. Over six months ago I moved my mother from a not so good nursing home, to this much quieter quaint place in the heart of Blanchard, since then she has had regular baths, she is up doing activities, and has told me on more than one occasion she’s much happier. The last place she was at left her in bed almost all day long, and her hair was so matted and greasy 24/7 before we got her to the Blanchard nursing facility we had to cut 10 inches off of her hair because of all of the knots from the lack of care at the other facility. She also had bedsores before we got her moved, now that she is no longer laying in bed all day long those have improved to almost completely healed. I highly recommend senior village! Also the staff is always polite!

The center has done a great job with care and communication. We moved from a facility that didn't put forth any effort in the care of their patients. Senior Village is a refreshing change. Our family member has been with them for over a year and continues to have excellent care. The management and nursing staff have always communicated with me on any issues or needs. I'm thankful we found Senior Village.

This has been the best place for my dad! We moved from 2 horrible facilities to here and he loves it! He loves the staff, and we have definitely seen a change for the better in his health! He gets regular therapy and baths and they check on him often. Every time we are on the phone I hear people come in to check on him. When we are there someone always comes in also. They've even helped guide us through the insurance paperwork to get the best options for him.

Blanchard Nursing Home was such a great place for my grandpa to go and do rehab after his hip surgery. He was in and out in a month. The most comforting thing he said to me was: “All of these nurses are so nice and they don’t make me feel like a stranger.” I’m so glad Blanchard has a skilled facility now! It makes it easier to visit loved ones. I would recommend this facility to anyone! Thank you BNH for taking GREAT care of my papa and assuring his safety & well being while I’m your care! P.S. he enjoyed the food!
