This place is absolutely dangerous at night. Please know the nursing care is SUBPAR and multiple reports to the state board of nursing are in process. Patients are put at risk and the good staff there are treated very poorly. Please be aware!

The nurses and tech are amazing. Such great care. Food was great. The tech and aides and the nurses were worked to death because there was one person to that whole area most times due to not enough help and being short staffed. . They were work to death. Some other people said it's not what it used to be

We had a family member at this facility, and the issues witnessed by family and other visitors were beyond disturbing. Thankfully, we found an alternate facility before things got any worse. The room started out clean, but after a few days, it was dirty, unsanitary, and had an odor. Most of the nursing staff was uncooperative, inattentive, and rude. They often complained of being short staffed and over tired. From My observations, I do believe them! They were regularly found at the nurses station having personal conversations, and often unresponsive to nurse call button. The doctors are seldom available to discuss patient care and we often had no clue where we were in treatment. It was frustrating for our family. The neglect and behavior of this staff was unprofessional and beyond concerning. If you are considering this facility, you may want to reconsider. There are better options out there. Update: My dad is finally on the road to recovery. There were many setbacks caused by their negligence and lack of care. Getting him moved from there and getting him the right care saved his life. Everything they did was contributing to his decline. We have had numerous doctors From other facilities to say the same thing. My objective is to make people aware of this situation in hopes of preventing other families from going through this. If you are considering this facility, please do your homework. Research and read other reviews. If your family member is elderly, and you use this facility, hire a sitter if you cannot be there.

My wife was admitted to this facility following a severe neurological injury related to diabetes. I have to admit, I was very concerned when we arrived as the facilities look like they could use a refresh or a coat of paint here and there. We just moved from Dallas and my wife was most recently in the care of UT-Southwestern, a gleaming, cutting-edge gem of a hospital at the top tier of Dallas area facilities. After the first night of care, I quickly realized that this place was absolutely on top of everything from room attendants to doctors. As an example on one occasion the attendants that change beds noticed something of concern, and alerted nurses and basically all hands on deck were attending to my wife and they immediately had a blood draw and a quick turnaround lab test done to ascertain the issue. Never really had to ask or plead for anyone to attend to an issue or administer care when it appeared she might need attention. The staff was either already on schedule with medications or procedures on nearly all occasions. Staff always responded quickly to call button in a friendly manner. On all levels, always friendly down-home staff. One thing my wife really loved was that the doctors and staff worked on a predictable schedule, I mean you never had to wait all day for a doctor, he visited at the same time every day. The bottom line was that when my wife entered this facility she could barely speak and could not feed herself. When she left she was fully conversing and feeding herself, and her mobility went from wheelchair to walker to cane very quickly. And, her parents loved the food at the cafeteria, and I agree!
