Cornerstone Living was an absolute blessing for mom. She was previously in a facility that was not just very understaffed but also very inept at taking care of anyone with any sort of memory challenges. The prior facility had also literally abandoned mom which, although was illegal and incredibly stressful at the time, turned out to be the biggest blessing that could have possibly happened. We found Cornerstone Living which turned out to be mom's home for her last fifteen months. The staff at Cornerstone is the most loving and attentive group of professionals you could ever hope to find for your loved one. Every time I visited mom, not only did I see the love but, I could also feel it everywhere. Mom was always happy, never lonely and never in want of anything during her entire stay. The animal visits were such an added bonus! Mom chose to exit this realm while I was out of the country, however, she was lovingly surrounded by six staff members that talked to her and gently rocked her as she quickly slipped away with Jesus. I could not have asked for a better departure for mom. I highly praise Cornerstone Living and all of the staff. From the deepest depths of my heart, a great big "Thank You" to an amazing home and extended family. May God continue to bless you all.
