Today at Cedar Hill was Bingo! My Grandpa just loved participating and won quite a bit of little goodies. It was so great to see him being outside of his room and enjoying himself. Especially since he loves to socialize with people! The Bingo host was also very nice and made sure everyone felt included. I can see now why Bingo is a fan favorite!

I am very hopeful that most of these negative reviews are not true. This should be a temporary home for patrons that need help "rehabilitating" after major or life-altering surgeries, and because of this not everyone sent here will have the same needs. My father is being sent here tomorrow 5/15/2026 after a major surgery that has both physical challenges and emotional impact, and I truly hope he has a GOOD POSITIVE experience here, and that he is well cared for and treated with respect. Reading through these reviews on what to anticipate is a bit scary. I will come back and adjust my review once we have real feedback to share on his experience.

I recently visited Cedar Hill and was impressed by how welcoming and well-kept everything was. The staff were friendly and attentive, and it was clear the residents are well cared for.

Referral and intake process is difficult. Denied because of need of RN but couldn't explain what they meant. Staff was rude, short and unhelpful!

My grandmother has been in cedar Hill for over a year now. I go on a regular basis to see her and have never seen any of the staff being rude or anything of the sort. When my sister and I found out we had to put our grandmother in a nursing home we visited quite a few different ones around town. We chose cedar Hill because as soon as we walked in it was bright didn't look depressing and the staff greeted us and actually took the time to talk with us and point us in the right direction of what the process was. My granny actually calls it her home and every time I am there she tells me how nice the staff is and that she likes it there. She enjoys the activities they do with them especially bingo(few times a week.) I've even sat and played some of the games with them and all the residents seem to enjoy them. They do good with them and they are all great with my grandma and the other people I know in there. I know you guys have a hard job that not many can or would do, I know it is demanding and you guys do a great job. I really appreciate what you guys have done each and everyone of you from cooks to the aides, social service ladies, cleaners, front desk, laundry, everyone special shout out to roberta for the activities(since you are my grandma's favorite). I truly appreciate you all and I'm glad we chose cedar hill.
