The question should not always be, first and foremost, about the price, however that is very important factor and is not taken lightly. I was most impressed with the quality of the staff, knowledgeable, friendly, compassionate. We needed assistance navigating physical therapy, occupational therapy and elder care on all levels. I am grateful we found everything we were looking for at Green Knolls…

This is supposed to be a 5 star facility. In my opinion, it is not. Don’t get me wrong, there are some very nice and knowledgeable people working here but there are also people who have no business being in an environment where patients (many elderly) need a lot of care. Some of the staff are lazy, mean and nasty. The website references wonderful cuisine but its horrible, the night and weekend staff should go back to school to learn how to be responsive and not leave people all day without water or hours laying in diarrhea when they need help. They should also check those attitudes outside the building. I get it, these places are all understaffed and underpaid but people have a choice to work at these places for the wage or to pass. If they choose to be there then they should show some compassion and do their jobs. My mother has daughters that can advocate for her but what about all of the people that have no one? It’s a disgrace.

From the beginning the Admissions department was great. Reem communicated with me and helped the process go smoothly with my mother. The social worker was very helpful when I called to ask questions and took care of the situation immediately. The nurse Jimmy was very helpful and kind as well. My mother is happy here. I know anyplace will have ups and downs but the people here seem to truly care about the patients and I want to say thank you!

The facility is clean and the staff are kind. Nurse Jimmy on the second floor was very helpful when I needed assistance logging my mother's clothing items in. He was patient and went above and beyond to help me. The aids are always professional and appear that they enjoy what they do. My mother is happy at this location and I feel comfortable with her being here.

As it was my first time using this facility I was very cautious due to previous rehabs in NJ. I will honestly say this was the best out of all the rehabs. My father stayed here for about three months and I tried to visit daily when possible. There is a lot of parking and an iPad style check in which can be confusing for seniors. Everything was very clean but I did have to bring my own dial hand soap for the room. The rooms hold two patients with adequate spacing. The exercise rehab staff were very patient and friendly. Dr Murr was very friendly and the nurses knew my Dad by name which is rare in a rehab. The head nurse was one of the most friendliest people I have ever met at a rehab and I have been to many for my grandparents. At night it is nice and quiet and you can open a window to get some fresh air. During the day they have a nice seating area under the trees to have lunch with your family. No complaints about the food either. The tv broke down for about a week, but their maintenance fixed it as well as adding a landline phone to the room. They also have WIFI in the building. I am so thankful to their staff and wish them lots of luck. Thanks so much for caring for my Dad, he also appreciated the stay and care you provided.
