I am very disappointed in this company. They wasted my time because they did not disclose on their ad, nor at the beginning of the interview, that they REQUIRE $250 to be a simple companion/caregiver. I have worked several caregiver jobs before and have never been required to pay any money in order to work for their companies. Being CPR certified is understandable, but that is paid for by the company. A caregiver position isn't a CNA or clinical position. I shouldn't need to pay your company to work for you. This is very misleading. Also, the person who spoke on the phone, you couldn't even understand her and she had very bad customer service. Whoever is running this organization should seek help in management, communication, and administration services to be a more professional company.

Reliable, caring, and adapative! My family cannot speak highly enough of the work that Comfort Keepers did as a partner in the care of an elderly relative. The staff was personable and responsive at every stage. Kim was so helpful with the sales process, meeting in person with my family to best understand what we needed. Tim and Kelly were phenomenal at coordinating caretakers, helping with billing, and responding over text, email or phone. Any agency that hires contractors is only as good as the leadership and everyone was top of the line. If there was a call out, they quickly found a replacement. This is so important when your relative NEEDS care everyday for their safety and health. Bruktait was the primary caretaker and she was the perfect fit. She was able to handle the particular needs of someone with dementia, cooked, cleaned, and kept my family informed of things so that we'd have peace of mind from several hours away. What a blessing Bruktait was for our family and our relative. At a very difficult time, our family needed to quickly assemble a team that could offer safety and reliability. Comfort Keepers was an essential part of that plan as we transitioned from an acute issue to an assisted living care facility. We used the services every day for almost three months. Thank you again for the wonderful customer service from start to finish.

I want to commend Miss Irene for the care she gave my Dad. He had complicated care issues as a result of extreme age and a neurological disorder. Irene epitomized the name “Comfort Keepers.“ From the time she arrived to the time she left, she industriously found ways to keep my dad comfortable. She would look at him and assess what she could do to help his posture by rolling pillows and blankets to just the right size and place them in just the right way. She could always tell when something was needed. She could read his body language to anticipate what he would want to say if he could. She was amazing in her ability to position him in the Hoyer lift, in his wheelchair, and in his bed. I’m a naturally quiet person, and Irene taught me the value of talking to Dad and explaining everything that we were doing to give him assurance and a sense of what was going on. We had a unique situation, since I was the primary caregiver for my dad, but I had injured my back, so I needed help. Irene taught me so many ways to do things to save my back. She gave me tips on how to stand, bend my knees, not bend over, and what to do when I was by myself. I felt a sense of relief when Irene came, knowing that my job would be easier, and Dad would be in good hands. I told her she could teach a class on caregiving and would be great at training others. I have learned so much from the Comfort Keepers Caregivers in my caregiving journey with Dad. Some stand out more than others for their exemplary caregiving and friendship, and Miss Irene will definitely be remembered with admiration and gratitude.

I am so appreciative of the team at Comfort Keepers for working with our family in matching a caregiver for my husband, a 100% disabled veteran. They took the time to make sure our needs were met. The team kept at it until the match was right. Our caregiver, Mulunesh Z., is like a member of our family. Her compassion, patience, mild manner and sense of humor is just what is needed. We are thankful for Mulu -- her presence provides peace of mind for the entire family!!
