Everyone was very helpful and kind as my wife completed her last days in house. The nurses and staff went out of their way to accommodate my wife’s every need. The facility itself is clean and modern. Everyone who came and visited were impressed not only with the facility but the positive atmosphere.

would give less then a bad rating if i could. everytime we came in, workers would be sitting at the front desk but couldn’t even help with simple tasks, sometimes two hours after pressing button for help. it’s just unfortunate that helpless people come for care and don’t receive. i would go into more detail but that’s not the point.

I wish we could give less than a 1 rating. We chose GLR because it was a newer facility, clean & bright. We chose wrong. Mom had fallen & broke her arm & hip. The problems in this facility start at the top. Paperwork 2.5 weeks behind, aide's who don't answer call buttons until 45-60 minutes have passed causing the patient undue grief & embarrassment. Nurses were only seen at med time which were often hours after they were due. Therapy was a joke. She would go there for an hour & during that time most of it was "take a break" which meant your therapist had other things to do . On arrival, they kept telling us that after 100 days, it goes to customer pay. At 30 days mom was booted, thank god. She was finally allowed to use her broken arm on Friday & they claim her insurance had denied her any additional time the following Monday. To me this was unethical/professional. The therapy group never spoke to mom or family regarding the sudden end of therapy. Please save you & your loved ones some grief. DO NOT go to GLR. We fought to get meds restarted, we fought for bloodwork to be done. They do have some fabulous employees, but they were sparse.

Have been in many facilities for family members over the years and this facility is the nicest that I have been in. Very presentable and took very good care of my family member

The staff was very helpful and caring. They provided great care and always kept us informed about what was happening. The building is very nice. Much nicer than most other homes I have seen.
