My dad has lived there since 2020. You could not ask for a nicer group of people who truly care about their job and their residents. Friendly, caring, kind. The facility itself is great, nice apartments and amenities. Would not hesitate to recommend.

The staff is phenomenal! Every single employee that my family interacted with was truly exceptional. My parents year long stay was filled with love through both staff and residents. I cannot say enough good things about Colonial Hill.

The staff is so caring. They treat the residents like family, not like they are just doing their job. You can truely tell they care. I would give them 10 stars but 5 is as high as it will go. I found this place at the recommendation of a highly regarded pharmacy, after my father passed. My father had been the primary caregiver to my disabled brother. My brother is very happy here and has his freedom, but also the extra help he needs. I looked at other independent living facilities in the area. None come even close to the excellence of Colonial Hill. I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend!!!!!!

It is not often that I find a place, of any sort, that I am willing to give such a glowing review, but Colonial Hill has more than earned it! I seriously have to chalk up this amazing find as some sort of Divine intervention! I truly cannot say enough good about the folks at Colonial Hill. The manager, Alena, has been there twenty plus years, which speaks volumes about this place. She is so kind, patient, and accommodating. Alena, and everyone there, genuinely cares about each and every resident. My friend is on the Autism Spectrum and requires help with daily tasks, medications, and diabetic monitoring. In the years I've been helping him, I have learned that there is little help for adults on the Spectrum. Alena gladly made my friend feel welcomed there and worked with me to develop his care plan. We did all of it via phone, text, and email, as my friend and I lived 2 states away. Seven months later, his diabetes is well controlled, his medications are on point, his doctors come to visit him regularly, and he is the happiest I have seen him yet! Colonial Hill is by far the most affordable, as my friend is on a tight budget. The care provided there is top notch, wonderful people there, in a beautiful little city, and everything each resident needs is right at their fingertips. I would highly recommend Colonial Hill to anyone looking for an assisted living situation! 😁
