Everyone gets the Willies when they hear their loved one is going into a nursing home. You never know what to expect because there are fantastic ones and there are some evil ones. I cannot say enough about NHC. They have communicated with us openly honestly and immediately upon anything that has happened and if taken care of my dad more thoroughly than I would have ever thought. Our local healthcare provider grossly overdosed my dad with a sleeping medicine and when I found out that this had happened I spoke with the nurse practitioner who was taking care of Dad and she immediately agreed. We will stop there. And just a couple days later he is already 100% better than he was. I asked that they would try to do a test and see if he had a UTI. They never hesitated and listened to me thoughtfully and actually did what I asked because of how he was acting. That blew me away and I'm so happy that he is in there getting the rehabilitation he needs with people who actually care. Thank you, NHC. I would like to give a special shout out to Danielle who has been an absolute Angel as well as the other caregivers who have been involved with my dad's care.

Not a fan of this facility. They could do a much better job for everyone. Staff included.

Worse place for nursing . I had lots of chest wall and rib pain from cpr.
Danielle, LPN made me wait 1 1/2 hrs for my pain meds even though it was time for them.
Amber, LPN saw me in the hallway when no one had answered my call-light for over 40mins. I was in severe pain and she told me “get to your room and go to bed.” Stated they had an emergency.
I had requested the last day I was there that I needed to go to the er and the nurse ignored all my requests. I had my son call the facility since he was out of the area due to national guard training.
Ty was my nurse and after my son called she came to my room and sarcastically asked me what I wanted to go, which I was admitted.
Therapy was great, but nursing was the worst.

Staff are incompetent and rude, especially the nurses. Do not bring your family here!
