College Square Retirement Community

College Square Retirement Community is an independent living community in Conway, Arkansas for active seniors 55 and older. Located on the campus of the University of Central Arkansas, it offers apartment-style living with no long-term lease or buy-in requirement, ranging from efficiency units to two-bedroom apartments with varying floor plans and amenities.

The community provides three meals daily prepared from scratch in a southern style, plus a Sunday brunch, with a food service director and cooking team that welcomes resident suggestions. All utilities are included in monthly rent except telephone and internet, along with expanded basic cable service. Residents benefit from the campus location with special UCA privileges, including the ability to audit classes, attend sporting events, and enjoy performances at Reynolds Performance Hall.

College Square maintains a full activity calendar and emphasizes resident choice, allowing those who prefer to participate in organized activities or simply relax at their discretion. The community operates under a "Resident First" philosophy, seeking resident input and working to accommodate members as part of the community family.

The campus location places the community convenient to Conway Regional Hospital, which is two blocks away, as well as nearby doctors' offices, pharmacies, banks, and churches. College Square has been owned and operated by the University of Central Arkansas since 2002 and is the only retirement community physically situated on a state college campus in the USA.
