About Cinnamon Park

Cinnamon Park is an assisted living residence for older adults 55 and over located in a quiet, residential neighborhood in Longmont, Colorado, close to main street shops, restaurants, and medical facilities. Originally developed in 1984 and refreshed over the years, the facility was recently updated with new carpet, furnishings, lighting, and décor, designed to look and feel like a large, single-family residence.

The community offers assisted living services with both Medicaid and private pay units available with no wait list. Residents have access to dining and common rooms in each building for socializing and activities, supported by a very strong activity and wellness program. Cinnamon Park features beautifully landscaped grounds with gardens available for residents to cultivate their own flowers and vegetables. The community organizes regular luncheons, BBQs, garden parties, and activities using garden-fresh grown fruits, vegetables, and herbs. Many activities are held in the common areas for all residents, and the community holds an annual rummage and bake sale to support the resident activity fund.

The property is situated among single-family dwellings on three sides, maintaining a residential character within the neighborhood. Affordable apartments for older adults were built in 2022 on adjacent land to the south. My grandma has lived here for 9 months and has had the worst time in building B, she has dementia and most of the workers in that building are making her go insane, they have told her that her daughter has died, and her grandson has died. Now I live 2 blocks away and she was on our street when they told her she needs to come back and if she didn’t they were going to call the police. The usual thing they do to her is tell her stuff like she is not allowed to leave to take her dog for a walk, now it has gotten worse over time where the think it’s funny to make fun of her. This is a place for older people that need help to live not get made fun of. There is only lady that is really nice in that building that does help her.

They also have many activities like bingo, musical entertainment, outings to local parks & theaters, arts & crafts, exercise & yoga classes. It is a great place for those that only need minimum care. I highly recomend their facility.

The staff works so hard to have a personal connection with the family as well as the resident. There’s one employee in particular who is my hero and his name is Jack. Jack fills many roles at Cinnamon Park and is an amazing human being. He extended himself to help me sort out technical glitches that my 85-year-old mother was having with her computer and phone. He continues to be supportive. This has proved life-saving during Covid when no one is allowed in the building. I refer to Jack as “ The Inside Angel!” because THAT is who Jack is!

My 93 yr old mother-in-law has lived at Cinnamon Park Assisted Living for 2 years and she just loves it. The staff is friendly and helpful. They provide 3 meals, distribute medication, clean the room, change bedding and do laundry. They also have many activities like bingo, musical entertainment, outings to local parks & theaters, arts & crafts, exercise & yoga classes. It is a great place for those that only need minimum care. I highly recomend their facility.
