I selected this place for my father because years ago it was a better place. This place has gone downhill! It's clean, but the staff needs training and assistance. The head nurse Natasha seems nice but she has made a few promises not kept. My father has been there since the 1st week in June and as of Monday 6/15/2026 he was dressed in his clothes. They took his clothes to the department that labels and wash. There was a delay in getting someone to label his clothes. The head nurse blamed the staff that handles that who was off work. My father finally got his clothes and then another week to actually put his clothes on him. We kept getting the run around as to who is supposed to handle what. I blamed management because it was an easy job of labeling the clothes and setting up for laundry. Next problem, my father has used the assist button several times to get assistance, but often ignored. He waited for 3 hours to get his diaper changed. This has happened on 2 occasions. He was transported to his doctor appointment to Grady. The transport staff for Christian City has one person that was physically handicap and that concerns me in case of emergencies. I was present at the appointment as I was told last minute that Christian City DOES not accompany their patients at doctor appointments. I watched these people transport my father but if there was an emergency one person was handicapped herself and would not have been able to assist. Not to mention my father should be rehabilitating but they are not getting him up to use the bathroom and they let him lay there all day. This place is ok but there are many conniving situations that make you not trust some of the staff. Beware and stay alert!

Our mom is in assisted living. She’s been there for 2 years. We are very pleased with her care and attention from staff. Since she adjusted to the change, she has been very happy and content. The staff and Director have been responsive to our questions and concerns. We highly recommend this assisted living facility!

I was overwhelmed with trying to take of my dad as his dementia was getting worse. I was so happy to get him into Christain City. The staff is helpful and caring. The care team keeps me updated with monthly meetings and assist with eye care and dentistry. If you are lucky to get your patent or loved one in the facility, it’s a blessing.

Updated 3/10/2026** **I would like to provide an update on my recent review. It is possible to have your concerns addressed in a timely once you make them to the right department. I am pleased to say that all of our concerns with the staff and care of our client were discussed and addressed in a timely manner. We were able to see improvement in his level of care and clarity on feeding schedules. We are seeing him make progress with his physical therapy which has always been consistent. The nurse/case managers were very good at listening to our concerns and resolving the issues. Be an advocate for your loved ones. It is possible to achieve a successful solution! I am a private care giver that sits with a patient at Christian City on the 3rd floor. The night shift Nursing staff on the 3rd floor is rude, unprofessional and will allow patients to lay in soiled clothes and bedding for hours! Although they accept patients with Alzhimers and Dementia they do not give them the necessary assistance and attention they need. If a patient doesn't understand what is being said they will simply assume it is a refusal and leave them. Without giving medication, personal hygiene or feedings. My client was left in his room from 2p.m. to 7p.m. Without any member of the staff attending him. He has a feeding tube in stomach. His scheduled 5 p.m. feeding missed. Clothing not changed since physical therapy. He had soiled his clothes. By 7 p.m, when they night shift sitter came, room smelled of feces. The Cna smelled the room, said it would take two people to clean him, left and never returned. Only after continuously asking the head nurse and techs did my client get clean😡. By this time it was 11:30 p.m and the night private sitter had to help the paid staff get our client cleaned! From 7p.m. until 11:30p.m. my client was left to lay in soiled clothes and a soiled bed, with the same clothes he had on when he finished physical therapy at 2! He also has a bed sore! The bandages came off with his soiled underwear! If you're faced with the unfortunate circumstances of having to put your loved ones in Christian City you must send someone to be an advocate for them! The night shift 3rd floor nurse is careless and she sends that same vibe to rest the staff. They could care less! Prayers for the patients that don't have anyone 🙏 😥

I visited Christian City, Rehab facility In Union City, Georgiaon yesterday. I was very impressed when I walked in the door with the information booth. The lady was very knowledgeable and detailed of my loved one location and how to get to her. I was extremely satisfied with the cleanliness of the facility. I received a call from them today Mariam and they had a team of people already assigned to care for my loved one all of them including Andy from Nursing and the Social Worker was present… all of them were detailed…knowledgeable and informative about what was going on with my loved one and they were also giving me all the detailed information I needed so that she could receive the proper care that she needs. This facility was very easy to access and they are on every aspect of her care.
