6/6/26 11:00 AM Surely nobody works here on the weekends. As I’m writing this at 11:00 AM, my mother, who is currently a patient at this facility and is diabetic with other serious health conditions, has been medicated with absolutely no food in sight. When she was admitted, I was told that breakfast is served between 8:30 AM and 9:00 AM. It is now 11:00 AM, and I have yet to reach a single person at this facility who can provide an update regarding breakfast or explain the delay. I’ve called this facility at least 5 to 10 times this morning. Poor Kaniya at the front desk is a sweetheart. She has patiently routed me to everyone I’ve asked to speak with. The problem is that once I’m transferred, the phone either goes to voicemail or rings endlessly without anyone answering. Imagine having someone you care about in this facility, knowing they have medical conditions that require regular meals, and being unable to get a simple update from anyone about what is going on so you can make arrangements on your end if needed. At this point, I’m considering ordering my mother Uber Eats just so she has something to eat, because it’s almost lunchtime and breakfast appears to have been completely missed. My biggest concern is not even the delayed meal. It’s the complete lack of communication. I have been transferred to the MOD, the dietitian line, the unit secretary on her floor, and even other floors, multiple times, without reaching a single person who could help. If you have a loved one here, I strongly recommend checking in frequently and advocating for them. Based on my experience so far, communication on the weekends appears to be severely lacking. 6/6/26 12:47 PM Update as of 12:41 PM on Saturday, June 6: My mother still has not received breakfast, lunch, or any meaningful communication from the care team regarding the delay. The only person who has been consistently helpful today has been the front desk staff member, who has done her best to transfer my calls and assist me. Since this morning, I have called multiple times and left messages with several departments. As of this update, I have not received a single callback from anyone regarding my concerns. I am leaving my original review in place because I believe it accurately reflects the progression of this issue throughout the day. I understand that facilities may have reduced staffing on weekends. However, being understaffed does not excuse a complete breakdown in communication or delays in basic patient care. My mother is diabetic and has other serious health conditions. Administering medication without ensuring timely access to food can create serious health risks, which is why I am so concerned. To put this into perspective, I had to order food and water for my mother through Uber Eats from another state because I could not get confirmation that she had been fed or even had access to basic hydration. No family member should have to wonder whether their loved one has eaten or has something as fundamental as water, especially when that loved one is in a medical facility receiving care. I am documenting this experience not only to share what we are currently experiencing, but also to create a clear record of events should further escalation become necessary. If you have a loved one at this facility, I strongly encourage you to check on them regularly, especially on weekends. Based on my experience today, family involvement appears to be necessary to ensure concerns are addressed in a timely manner. To the facility: please do not respond with a generic apology or template response. What patients and families need is action, communication, accountability, and a care plan that supports healing and recovery. I sincerely hope the remainder of my mother’s stay reflects a higher standard of care than what we have experienced today.

First experience with personnel at this facility. Pleasantly surprised by employee interface from the check-in clerk to the professionals encountered. This sets the environment for the patient's successful recovery.

My father recovered from two hospitalizations at Cherrydale. The attention and care provided were fantastic. The clinicians (NP and RNs) and attendants were very professional, thorough and communicative. The PT, OT and ST are probably the strongest and most organized that I have seen in a skilled nursing facility. All of the staff were friendly, professional and very effective. I would happily send my family members to Cherrydale. I only wish the facility would get updated and renovated, as it’s a little old, tired and bare. Making it warmer and more inviting would surely contribute to patients’ morale (and the families too). Thank you Cherrydale!!!!

The staff here are super helpful and friendly and as I was writing the elevator today, I noticed that some of the patients are super friendly to each other The only reason I wouldn’t give it a five is because the building is pretty worn out and one of the elevators was not working so it was a pretty long wait getting up and down the floors today All in all though this is a great place and my friend is getting good care

I want to say this was the best choice for my mom, it is so many people I want to thank so if I leave some one out please forgive me. .Ms Tajia is the one that brought my mom here she was very professional, attentive and always on top of things she is in charge of Admission .Mr Tremaine was the Director or Administrator the one in charge of the facility, very kind, nuturing , and he truly cares and looks out for your love one. He made my mom very happy by just "(Listening to her) this helps with the process of her getting better knowing someone truly cares. There Physical therapist, speech,OT, PT therapist everyone on that team. deserves a 5 star. Watching how involved they were with my mom , helping her get better, talking to her, Listening to her, making her laugh goes a long way , all of them were great but Mehran ( sorry if I spelled wrong) He has been there 30 Years or more he deserves an award and I can really tell he loved his job and he realy cares about People, he was very attentive , caring and most of all patient with my mom no matter what he was there.. Chyna, Kiara,Cierra, Johnathan Nicole, Serenity and a couple of her nurses I don't have there names but I'll come back and make sure I give them the credit they deserve for sure. Now it was some that needed some trainings on some things they know who they are no need to mention them.( some aids, or tech) My mom left very sadden not because of her care it was because she wanted to stay longer but as you know there's no place like home. My mom is love by so many people even her nurse cardiologist came to visit her on her way to vacation. So from my family thank you Cherrydayle for helping my mom get back on track slowly but surely. Here are a few of the staff , family that brought my mom joy. Might be more Pic 📸 but this good enough 😆 The Oliver Family ❤️
