This is the absolute worse place you could ever put a loved one. My grandpa was only here for 2 hours after he suffered from a stroke and he had the absolute worse experience of his life in this place. When he first got to this awful place the nurses which were not strong enough to lift him tried to pick him up to weigh him. They lifted him in a way that hurt him then when they were returning him to his bed they dropped him down on the bed onto his arm (which was effected by his stroke) and hurt him even more. On top of that there are no phones in any of the rooms so if your loved one experiences something like this they cant even call anyone to help. The only reason why he was able to call us is because my mom called the front desk and asked to speak to him which the lady said that she would “go find a spare phone and hook it up in his room” when he was finally able to call us. He immediately told us that he was terrified and that he absolutely needed to get out and could not stay there. He was super distressed and crying on the phone. I have never ever seen my grandpa like this before ever. And he is not the only one who experienced something like this. When we went to pick him up, we walked around and saw some of the other patients there. The living conditions were horrible. Some people there didnt even have a bed frame and were sleeping on a mattress on the floor. Also while he was there he heard a women a couple rooms down yelling for some water. Which they never came with. Some of the worst living conditions ever. We decided to immediately pull him out once we saw how horrible this place was. We had him transported back to swedish hospital but not without trouble from the staff. We had to call an ambulance to transport him back and When we first called the ambulance they said they would be there in only about 15 minutes, about 25 minutes goes by and we were starting to wonder were the paramedics are. We then called back to see were the ambulance was and that was when we found out the workers had turned away the ambulance saying there was no need for it and that no one called. We then called back and told them we needed to get him out immediately. they eventually came back and while they were entering the workers still gave them trouble but we were finally able to get him out. Meanwhile all of the workers were extremely low empathy and did not care about a single person in that home. These people are absolutely horrific and disgusting. I cannot stress how awful of a place this is. Please please do not put a loved one here, they will have one of the most traumatic experiences of their life in this prison. This place is designed to make elderly people weaker and weaker until they die alone in there. This place is truly disgusting with some of the most disgusting people on this planet.
