We want to share our experience with the memory care unit at Cherokee Trails Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. While our overall experience with the facility has not been perfect, the care our Mimi has received from Nurse Misty and Nurse Aide Carolyn has been truly exceptional. They have consistently gone above and beyond to make sure she is comfortable, cared for, and treated with dignity. In a setting where details matter, they have shown genuine compassion, patience, and attentiveness not just to Mom/Mimi, but to our entire family. They step in when needed, communicate clearly, and handle their responsibilities with a level of care that stands out. Because of Misty and Carolyn, we have had peace of mind during an incredibly difficult time. Their dedication does not go unnoticed, and we are deeply grateful for the difference they have made in Mom/Mimi’s care.

These folks went above and beyond to take care of the needs of my elderly grandmother doing this good work as I speak.Thank God for folks at Cherokee trails to take care of our loved ones......

Sharima and the staff at Cherokee Trails gave their 110% to help me get an 88 year old homeless veteran that suffers from dementia, accepted into their nursing home memory care unit. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough and so thankfully another facility was able to take the veteran into their care instead. Sometimes, policy and law, gets in the way. This review is obviously not to praise the policy at Cherokee Trails, but someday it could be if the policy/law makers make positive changes. This review is also, by no means, a way to speak anything negatively about Cherokee Trails. This review is simply to praise Cherokee Trails for hiring some of the most caring people to their staff. While the staff were still trying to make their facility the new home for the homeless veteran, they still helped me, by making sure the veteran did not get discharged from the hospital ER, sent out to wander aimlessly/unsafe, and still homeless. I believe that the residents at Cherokee Trails are in good hands. GOD Bless the staff at Cherokee Trails!

Would like to say that the new Administrator Sharima is awesome. She truly cares about the patients. She truly listens and does everything she can to fix any and all situations. More importantly she makes sure they don’t happen again. Having someone who cares as much as she does is a huge blessing. Appreciate everyone involved that had a hand in hiring her. Thank you Sharima for all you have done and do.
