I am very disappointed. I feel the facility has shared information that is covered by HIPAA - twice. That being said the caretakers are very friendly and I feel like they truly care about my parent.

The decent reviews are from years ago.<br>Complaints filed with the state of Michigan regarding Charter Senior Living of Stepping Stone Falls in Flint include issues with medication management, staffing levels, and food delivery. Specific allegations detail medication errors, a shortage of staff for residents, and a resident frequently not receiving dinner. Other findings from state investigations point to cleanliness issues, such as carpet stains and odors, according to Adult Foster Care Search.<br><br>Management is incompetant, uncaring, unprofessional, and unwilling or unable to do their jobs. The nurse is never on premises, makes mistakes, doesn't return calls, doesn't answer questions, and has anger problems. Maintenance is hard to get a hold of and act angry when called. There is no quality of staff. You usually find them gathered in groups talking loudly, laughing and playing on their phones No problems are taken care of. Rooms not cleaned as promised. Food is of the poorest quality, overcooked, dry and tasteless.<br>Complaints are not dealt with. Concerns are ignored.

Super nice inside. Must have all just been redone. Was surpised to see even the sidewalks have been redone that rarely happens with these places. There were even courtyards with nice seating surprising to see almost like a nice hotel

I can honestly say this is one of the best assisted living and memory care facilities I have seen in the State of Michigan, or anywhere in the Midwest for that matter. The dedication and compassion that I have witnessed here not only from the management but from all staff members has been truly inspiring! Charter Senior Living Stepping stone falls has more activities and group opportunities than anywhere I have seen. I was very impressed with the company’s mission statement. “Enhance the human spirit” it really says it all. This isn’t just a home where your loved ones are cared for physically, they are loved, they are laughed with, they are truly valued for who they are here!
