After years of living on her own, my mom fell and broke her hip. That set off a long, difficult cycle of health setbacks and bouncing from one rehab facility to another. Everything finally turned around when she came to Charter Senior Living of Shiloh.

The environment at Charter is bright, cheerful, and full of activities, but the people are what make it truly special—they treat residents like family. Jaime, the Executive Director, and Carrie (the very first welcoming face I met walking through the doors) were both fantastic to work with.

Mom just needed a supportive space to "incubate" and build her strength back, and Charter gave her the confidence to do just that. A huge part of her success was the incredible EmpowerMe therapy team on-site.

Spearheaded by Tabitha, the physical, occupational, and speech therapy teams are outstanding. They worked thoughtfully within my mom's needs and capabilities, taking into account her preexisting physical limitations alongside her recovery. Their genuine love for their work shows in how deeply they care for their clients.

While Mom was safely cared for at Charter, we were able to make the necessary updates to shore up her home and make it as safe and accessible as possible. Thanks to the amazing efforts of the entire Charter and Empower Me team, Mom gained her independence back and successfully transitioned home to live on her own again.

We couldn't have done it without the fine folks at Charter Senior Living of Shiloh. Five stars!
