I’ve had the pleasure of working with the team at Charter for some time, and I continue to be genuinely impressed by the level of care and dedication they provide. The families that I have supported in this community, consistently express how happy they are with the support and attention they receive. Each time I visit, I’m greeted by a warm, welcoming, and professional staff who clearly take pride in what they do. I’ve especially enjoyed working with their Sales Director, Laura, who is exceptional in her role. She consistently goes above and beyond—not only for prospective residents, but also for those currently living in the community—ensuring everyone feels valued and supported. Charter certainly stands out as a leader in memory care. Highly recommend!

I moved my mom to Charter in Columbia after frequent falls at another community, where increased care and higher costs did not improve her safety. She was falling almost every week. After connecting with Laura, it was clear she truly cared about finding the right fit, not just filling a room.<br>Since moving to Charter five months ago, my mom has not fallen once. The environment is supportive, engaging, and focused on safety. Judi in Memory Care brings real magic to creating meaningful and personalized experiences. Laura, the Sales Director, is exceptional. She is fully committed to residents and families, meets people where they are, and consistently advocates for what is best for them. Will, the Executive Director, leads with compassion and stays involved with families every step of the way.<br>This is a five-star review, not because the community is perfect, but because they listen, adapt, and genuinely partner with families. They truly work to “enhance the human spirit”.

Charter Senior Living of Columbia has been a true Godsend for our family. My dad had a 30-day respite stay in July of 2025. The stay was intended to give us a much needed break. It also served a a "trial run" for how my dad would actually do living here.<br><br>From the 1st phone call as I talked with Lisa, I felt as if Charter was the perfect place for my dad. In speaking with Lisa, she made me feel very welcomed, before I even stepped foot into Charter. Then I met Laura and Will and they were just a welcoming and helpful in transitioning my dad into Charter. They eased our fears about entering into senior living, as it is not an easy decision to make.<br><br>Fast forward 4 months and my dad's needs changed. He needed more care than our family could provide. There was absolutely no hesitation in deciding where my dad would reside. Our return to Charter has been all that we could have asked for. The Charter caregivers and staff have been so loving, caring, and professional. They have all made our transition into Senior living much easier. My dad is truly thriving and seems happy living in his new home. Our family is at peace knowing that dad is in such good hands. I totally recommend Charter to anyone looking for a wonderful place for their loved one to live!!
