I would like to apologize to the staff at the office on route 6 fall river ,especially the white female with long straight black hair for having to drive them to (I'm painting it as nice as I can) look out the windows and point n stare after their employee , latter described, asked " do I have to do that here" although it isn't pretty n the best situation I did need to empty my colonostomy bag ,as it was about to erupt n may further my health as I am in stage 4 colon cancer. I was not shocked or dismayed at the loud request of the employee but when I looked further I noticed it was a health care business. The mission statement by the company fails to align with its office employees and I was naive to think a company would employ ppl with the same values and morals n social grace. I do understand the ppl in the window getting a look at me n my struggling, I understand it's human nature to be inquisitive when , as I believe the employee with her loud question told the staff so I understand they would want to witness what they were told n I do applaud the older Grey hair gentlemen who assured me Noone in the company would treat or behave in that manner n I assumed it was because they worked in the health care field. I also understand the compulsion to protect and deny an employee would behave in a course manner , I assumed workers In a health care field and for a company that boasts about compassion would as forementioned hire employees that do not align with the values of the company. I know if anyone has read this far or consider the private for profit company to hire compassionate empathetic consummate professionals in the health care field, I sure did not come in contact with any employees there that hold themselves to a higher standard. The only positive I can address is a courteous good morning from the older Grey hair gentlemen but was very put off by his standoffishness (i think i invented a new word or my vocabulary and vernacular is not what it once was after the years of fighting Cancer has me down on the score cards n if I don't win it will be a draw at best) ok I'd like to plainly put it as this , white female with the straight black hair whom looked young healthy i hope as all I can do you do not have to suffer from any type of cancer n watch your children and family worry for you njust to throw another 2 cents in , its probably adding up to paper money by now, do better n treat ppl with dignity n respect

Yes. CenterWell Home Health is a Medicare-certified home health agency, so Medicare Part A or Part B pays in full for skilled nursing, therapy and home health aide visits when a doctor orders them and the patient is homebound. There is no copay for covered home health visits. Medicare rates the agency's quality of patient care 4.5 out of 5 stars.
For Medicare to pay, yes: a doctor, nurse practitioner or physician assistant must certify that care is needed and sign a plan of care. Families can call the agency first, and the agency will usually contact the doctor to arrange the order. Ongoing help with bathing, meals and companionship is a different service, non-medical home care, which needs no referral.
