Mom checked in almost two months ago. Mom has dementia and severe falling issues. The staff have been extremely attentive, helpful and kind. More than a few of them have gone the extra mile in taking care of Mom. The whole facility seems very clean and well kept. It’s peace of mind knowing Mom has eyes on her 24/7.

I would like to recognize Anna Harrop, Admissions Director at Millbrook Rehabilitation, for the exceptional compassion, professionalism, and dedication she showed to a family during a very difficult time. I was working with a family whose greatest wish was to have their loved one closer to home so they could spend meaningful time together. After facing several challenges, I connected with Anna, and her response was immediate. She arranged a tour, provided support and guidance to the family, and worked diligently to secure a private room where their loved one could be surrounded by family and comfort. What stood out most was Anna’s genuine kindness and sense of urgency. She understood how important every day was for this family and went above and beyond to make their wishes a reality. As a healthcare professional, I have the opportunity to work with many facilities, and Anna’s compassion and commitment to patient- and family-centered care truly stand out. Millbrook Rehabilitation is fortunate to have such an outstanding Admissions Director, and I am grateful for the support she provided during this family’s journey.

Excellent!!! My 87-year-old dad has been to three nursing homes. Mill Brook is by far the best. The facilities are excellent and the staff are friendly. I was not happy with the other nursing homes, but I am delighted with Mill Brook.

My grandfather was a patient here on the rehab unit after a stay at the hospital. Can’t say enough good about the experience. The nursing staff took great care of him and made sure all of his needs were met. Despite him having dementia and needing assistance with ADL’s, he was always treated with respect and dignity. Communication was great. My family and I truly appreciated the professionalism throughout the building.

“My mother, who has dementia, was sent to Mill Brook Rehabilitation Center, where she fell twice under their care and suffered a broken leg and hip. While the staff members we interacted with were kind and supportive, the overall lack of communication—especially from the administrators, who have yet to respond—has been extremely disappointing.” I would strongly recommend you not sending your loved ones here.
