My parents have been at CH for almost a year now. After leaving their home of 50 yrs it was a huge adjustment. We’ve had a few bumps along the way and fully expected that there would be. We’ve grown to love the staff there and I will say for the majority of them they are truly dedicated to caring for our seniors. They go above and beyond to help my parents stay safe and cared for. They have some good activities and outings and really encourage them to participate. The building is clean and cheery, always homey feeling. I like the open door policy to administrators, they’ve always stopped to listen to any concerns and work to find solutions. The place they could improve on is the food. They need more sugar free options for my mom and they need to rotate the menu more often so they’re not eating the same things all the time. But overall, we know it’s not like being in your own home, but it’s a good option when you can’t anymore. Shout out to Emily for always listening, to April for her beautiful smile and hugs, to Cassie for helping keep meds straight, to Lisa for being the one that is always on top of things and the care she gives my mom especially, and to Tyra for always looking in on my parents and treating them like family.
