Castles Of Love Assisted Living

Castle of Love II is an assisted living home in Bowie, Maryland, serving residents ages 55 and older. The facility provides residential assisted living care in a one-level rancher-style home, licensed to care for up to seven residents with assessed care needs up to level three, the highest level of care allowed in a non-medical facility in Maryland.

The community offers meals, medication administration by certified and licensed medication technicians, 24-hour supervision and monitoring, housekeeping and laundry services, assistance with bathing and incontinence care, case management services, and help with activities of daily living. Staff include certified nursing assistants and medication technicians, with registered nursing reviews and assessments available monthly and as needed.

Medical services coordinated through the facility include quarterly in-house podiatry services, monthly physician visits, psychiatric and laboratory referrals, and pharmacy delivery. The facility is equipped with an automatic fire sprinkler system, fire alarm and security systems, and a full-house generator to maintain operations during power outages.

Castle of Love II accepts payments through the State of Maryland Waiver for Older Adults Program (Medicaid Waiver), as well as long-term care insurance, veterans benefits, and private payments. The facility also assists with coordinating transportation services for residents.
