Had a difficult experience with my mother here. Meds were late or absent or the “wrong one, sorry ”

Entry way and staff were perfect. 10/10

But the communication from the hospital to the staff at the facility was awful.

I had no idea I’d be getting healthier as I added years, but that’s just what happened. Seven years ago, my husband and I moved to Cascade Manor, and we’ve taken full advantage of what I call the “movement amenities.” There is an indoor swimming pool and spa, a well equipped fitness center, and plenty of classes from Tai Chi and yoga, to Better Bones and Balance, to Wii fitness.

I’m much stronger than I was seven years ago, I feel better with fewer aches and pains, and sleep better, and I attribute it all to my regular exercise routine, all right here, at my convenience. The same thing goes for my husband. When we moved in, he was using a cane and wouldn’t think of taking the stairs. Now he’s seen zipping around, including the stairs, caneless, racking up his 15,000 steps a day.

Cascade Manor is the perfect place to add years to your life and life to your years!

Picture yourself in the Pacific Northwest, picture yourself among the trees in the college town of Eugene, picture yourself at one of the premier retirement communities in Oregon. This is a community where community and caring is the primary vision. You feel welcome here!

Cascade Manor review for Google
We wanted to move to a Continuing Care facility to avoid the need to move several times if our health becomes problematic as we age.
We have been here for six years and have no regrets. We like our apartment which has two-bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living room adjacent to a full kitchen.
There are many residents with fascinating stories to tell and expertise to share. Some activities are staff-led, such as lunch and shopping trips, memory skills and a variety of exercises: yoga, pool, Bones and Balance and WiiFit. Residents generate discussion groups, give talks, lead singing, and run a woodshop and an art club.
We enjoy regular visits to our campus by musicians, both professional and student.
The staff get to know all our names and are thoughtful and encouraging and, overall, there is a culture of mutual respect amongst staff and residents. Everyone struggled with the covid pandemic, but came through it and are enjoying being able to be social again.
NH
