All of the leadership and staff here at the Legacy have been amazing, and we were blessed that they took such good care of our dad. It’s a wonderful facility

Moving my aunt to Legacy at Cimarron has made an incredible difference in her quality of life. Beyond the wonderful activities and beautiful environment, what truly stands out is the genuine care, attention, and compassion shown by the staff every single day. The team has been exceptional about making sure her medications are managed properly, her needs are noticed, and that she is treated as a person — not just another resident. The personalized attention and kindness have meant so much to our family. A very special thank you to April, the Director of Memory Care Nursing, who has become my aunt’s “bestie.” The bond they have developed says everything about the level of care at this facility. April and the staff truly take the time to connect with residents, understand their personalities, and make them feel valued, safe, and loved. Before moving to Legacy at Cimarron, my aunt had become withdrawn and discouraged in a setting where she did not feel as engaged or connected. Since moving here, she has completely transformed. She is now alert, participating in activities, socially engaged, and genuinely enjoying her life again. Seeing that change has been priceless for our family. Another thing that impressed us is how many of the staff members have remained at the facility together for many years — in some cases nearly a decade. That kind of consistency says a great deal about the culture, leadership, and work environment that has been created there. A special thank you to Sr Executive Director Jacob Biggs for fostering a facility where both residents and staff genuinely seem valued and cared for. I also appreciate Legacy at Cimarron’s active engagement with the Alzheimer’s Association and their commitment to ongoing dementia care education. The facility regularly hosts Alzheimer’s-related meetings and resources for families, and it is clear the staff receive consistent training in the specialized skills required to care for residents with memory loss and dementia. That knowledge, patience, and understanding shows in the way residents are treated every day. I am deeply grateful to the entire Legacy at Cimarron team for the compassion, professionalism, and heart they bring to their work every day. For the staff, this may be part of their job, but for families like ours, this is our aunt’s life, comfort, dignity, and home — and that care and kindness truly matter more than words can express.

My dad has been here quite a while now and he really loves this place. The staff is awesome, very professional, very knowledgeable, very courteous and are very accommodating. The facilities are very clean and well maintained There is almost always some activity going on to keep residents safe, happy, entertained and healthy. Several common areas for residents and families to use. The food is well prepared and they have a menu that is available at all times for menus that do not appeal to everyone. All requests are answered in a timely manner and Jacob is great about communicating with families. Overall this place is the best care for my father!!

This was a very short notice move-in for my father and I was very fortunate to find The Legacy so quickly. Everything went seamlessly, especially for such difficult decisions. The executive staff is amazing and more importantly, the aid staff seems to wonderful so far. The facility is extremely clean and activities are non stop. In the 6 days I spent there( many hours day and night) getting my dad situated, I became very friendly with the residents. and all ...all of them love the place where they are, and I heard nothing negative from therm. I am grateful and comforted by this first week experience.
