Very unprofessional staff is only there for a paychex doesn't take the time to feed and nurture but that what they get payed for to help an old person live staff get mad when we say so thing wrong with them they get irritated that they have to work

My stay here was adequate until a staff member accused me of stealing food from the other residents and repeatedly harassed me. Before that, the care was satisfactory and the staff mostly friendly but some of them clearly hate working there and that attitude infects the overall atmosphere. The meals are barely adequate and often heavily composed of carbohydrates which is problematic for diabetics like myself. There is only one shower and sometimes residents have to wait a week before they can have a proper shower. The facility does have infestation issues during the summer with roaches in the cafeteria area. Some of the staff members actually care about their jobs but then there are others that are very much not invested and clearly there just to get a paycheck. At times, some of their behavior towards the residents can be rather unprofessional and reminiscent of the way correctional staff might treat inmates. In general, the nursing staff is professional but very obviously overworked. The facility is in general short-staffed and some behavior is likely tolerated because at least the problematic people actually show up for work. The only real positive is that the laundry service is very efficient and helpful. All in all, it has been a rather negative experience though apparently still not the worst Genesis facility in this city so I suppose there's that.

I want to thank all my CNA's, Nurses and the Dr. Mat who took care of me from March to December 2024. I want to thank the staff and the folks in the kitchen who took care of me too. I especially want to thank the Physical Therapy staff for helping me and motivating me into getting stronger so I could get myself up and walking again after that four or five months I spent in bed in the leg cast. They inspired me to get off my butt and get stronger and start learning how to walk again. I want to thank the van drivers who took me back and forth to my doctor during the time I was there too. Thank you all very much.

My dad was a resident there for three years. They took very good care of my dad. I truly felt like they cared for him like family. I never worried about my dad he was in good hands. The food was very good, the faculty is a little older but it’s well maintained and clean. My dad just passed I will miss seeing the staff and residents.

The reason I gave 5 stars, because the care for our loved one was evident. The staff made me feel welcome. The building was clean and inviting. Our loved one is comfortable. The sign in process was efficient and professional to make sure no one brought in any contagious disease. Thank you to the Nurses and Staff for making the stay of our loved one ,very well done.
