Terrible place. They have no set curfew for residents, so I had to listen to my roommate’s very loud television set until 2AM. When I complained about it, I got blank stares from the orderly. Also pharmacy withheld my meds from me for 5 hours and counting. Staff was ambivalent and rather than expedite delivery they shrugged their shoulders and said it was out of their hands.

This is a compassionate and comprehensive care facility, offering rehabilitation, elder care and memory care to aging people. The staff are WONDERFUL. Truly friendly and caring people who truly care for the residents, with a respect that shows how much their careers about each residents' dignity. In my personal experience, I have encountered only one staff member who may not be the kindest person, and even that staff member treats the residents well and that is all that truly matters.

If I could give 6 stars, I would! My brother was here from November 24 to the end of April 25. The place is clean. I did not see a turn over of staff during his time there and he received a lot of Speech, OT and PT. The staff was responsive and took care of all his medical needs. This was an extreme difference from other rehabilitation facilities he previously experienced.

When my 78-year-old father unexpectedly took a fall that resulted in a significant brain injury in the summer of 2024, my family found itself suddenly immersed in the world of Intensive Care, Acute Care Facilities, and Skilled Nursing Facilities. It was a world about which we had very little knowledge. At the point when my father had progressed enough that he was ready for discharge from an Acute Care Facility, we were hopeful that we would find a Skilled Nursing Facility in the Boston/Metrowest area where he could continue his recovery. Fortunately for our family, Casa de Ramana, located in Framingham was able to offer him a spot at their facility. From our first interaction with Casa de Ramana, the experience was first-rate. The staff was immediately willing to engage with our family and explain how the recovery and rehabilitation process would work. We had a “48-Hour” meeting in which the assessment results and therapeutic plans were explained and all of our questions were answered. After this meeting, we had a clear understanding of what we could expect. Over the next two weeks, the team of physical, occupational, and speech therapists at Casa de Ramana did an amazing job of working with my father and the results were evident. The gains in strength, dexterity, and cognitive skills over the course of a two-week stay that my father experienced were critical in enabling him to return home to his grateful family. Every single staff member with whom we interacted during my father’s stay at Casa de Ramana was pleasant and positive. The facility itself is extremely clean, bright, positive, and encouraging. We have a large family and we were grateful that the many people who wanted to visit my father during his stay at Casa de Ramana were able to do so because of their flexibility in accommodating visitors. The outdoor seating by the front entry allowed us to bring my father outside to enjoy the fresh air during visits and, when we wanted to share a meal with him or pass the time with a sodoku or a jigsaw puzzle, we were welcome in the dining area. The positive atmosphere at Casa de Ramana made a difficult time much more bearable. We are incredibly thankful to everyone on the team at Casa de Ramana. Our family’s experience there was extremely positive and the efforts of the therapists were the key to a successful recovery for my father. We are pleased to offer our enthusiastic endorsement of Casa de Ramana.

Such a difficult decision to place my Mom in a nursing care facility. Casa de Remana gave my Mom outstanding care. You walk in and the staff is smiling, there's no foul odor, the patients are calm and well cared for. The food was delicious. The housekeepers were friendly and respectful. The nursing staff was prompt, and very thorough. Not one bad interaction, and we were there all the time. They worked well with the hospice team to ensure that Mom died peacefully, and she did. Thank you to all the CNA'S, Nurses, Social Worker, Activity people, housekeepers, kitchen staff, and anyone else who may have been helping with her care. The Family of Anne Fairbanks
