Casa Carmen Aponte

Casa Carmen Aponte Apartments is an affordable senior housing community for low-income residents ages 62 and older, located in Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood just off Norris Square Park near Fishtown.

The community offers 35 one-bedroom apartments equipped with fully electric kitchens featuring stoves, garbage disposals, and refrigerators. Each apartment includes a packaged terminal air conditioner unit. A medical screening room is available for visiting doctors and health care workers.

Residents are permitted to keep common household pets in their apartments, and service or assistance animals are also welcome. Pet owners must follow community rules regarding registration, inoculation, waste disposal, and restraint in common areas. The community does not apply pet rules to assistance animals and their owners.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises. Residents must sign a non-smoking agreement, and smoking is prohibited in apartments and throughout the property.
