We had Caregiving Angels for both skilled nursing and unskilled care through the Dayton VA hospital for my dad. The skilled therapists that came out were excellent. They were patient, kind, compassionate and seemed to know what they were doing. I have nothing but praise for them. However the unskilled aide was okay for the first couple of months. But our personalities clashed and I would get into arguments with them over stuff like attendance They were set up to come during the week while I was at work. They would frequently ask if they could come Saturday to make up for the missed day, when I was at home with dad and didn't need them.) or ask me to sign attendance paperwork saying when they were there when they didn't show up for a day or offer to make up for it. (Which would be fraud against the VA.) I asked for a different aide and they would not send a new one out. On top of that, when aides would come out to cover for missed days our usual aide would get very defensive and argumentative with me when I wouldn't tell the company to not send someone to cover them. For skilled nursing/therapy 5/5 For unskilled nursing/aide 1/5 I would recommend them for any sort of skilled nursing, but for unskilled work (like an aide) I would not recommend them.
