This place has been a God-send to our family and my dad. Eric, Elaine and staff have been so professional, efficient, respectful and know what’s important. My dad just moved in and I can feel he feels comfy and at home. He doesn’t talk much but he said the caregivers are so good to him. This means the world to me and my family. I can finally sleep at night and know that he is in good hands, having people take care of him from their hearts. I wish we would have known this place along time ago. Care with Aloha-keep up the good work and hope this doesn’t change! Thank you for the love and welcoming my dad to your facility!

Eric Ko and his employees have been incredibly kind and easy to talk as we have been transitioning our father into group home care. The home is inviting and clean. The staff are friendly and attentive and the meals served are home cooked and nutritious. So far our experience has been A+.

As a home health nurse, I have been fortunate enough to visit numerous group homes around town. Care with Aloha stands out among other group homes because of the care provided not by me, but, by the caregivers there. They genuinely and sincerely do care. It is not an easy job but they all went about their duties with resident care treating each one with dignity and respect. The group home is always clean and the residents there always have a smile when I visit.

I'm shocked when I read the reviews, because I thought this is where I would love to have my mom and dad. Eric the owner and Elaine the manager seemed to be really nice people. But I was fooled by both of them. After giving the previous group home the 30 day notice to move out my mom, had reserved the bed, they both decided 10 days before the move out date, to back out. The manager decided to assess my mom 10 days prior to the move out date. I got a call that my mom wasn't talking. The manager asked if my mom talks. If she didn't talk, I would have mentioned something in the beginning. My mom speaks Spanish, but will say some words in English and understand when asked "how are you?, what's your name?, who is the president?," etc. But the lead told the manager my mom only spoke Spanish. Complete lie. Another thing I found out was the manager asked a lot of questions about me. She asked someone who I've had issues with since Feb, abused my mom by forcing medicine down there throat, mocking my mom that I was going to show, etc. The manager believed whatever that lead had to say to her about my mom and myself. I didn't know it was a crime to care about your LO. So their decision to not admit my mom was due to my mom only speaking Spanish. SMH That's discrimination! With the excuse that Medicaid sees it as an issue? I spoke with 3 other group home owners and they said that should never be an issue. Even a social worker from Aging and Disability said that's not true.<br>But even after all this ordeal, the stress you put me through to find another group home for my mom (thankfully in less than 2 days), I'm just so glad she isn't a resident in your home. Things happen for a reason. Everyone was pretty shocked when I told them what had happened. But again, I see it as God or the universe didn't want me to place my mom there.
