My mother was in a care center and I was given notice that she would be leaving in a short few days and I knew she could not go back home this time. After a quick search for someone with knowledge of assisted living facilities in the Lee’s summit area, I ran across John’s name and company. I called him on the weekend and he gave me a call back quickly. We had a short conversation in which he assessed my mother’s situation and needs, as well as what I wanted for her. Within a few days, we had a few recommendations to consider from John. I looked into those personally and toured a couple myself along with my wife. He also took the time to visit with my mom to chat personally about what she wanted. Within a short amount of time ,we had the papers signed and we’re moving her in. She is now safely in an assisted living facility in Lee’s Summit (as she requested) enjoying her new life, with the care and living situation that she needs. I am incredibly grateful to John for his ability to listen and empathize, and the peace of mind he helped restore for all of us.

I cannot begin to express how thankful I am for Jon and his team at Care Hunters. I found myself needing to find immediate placement for my senior mother. I was overwhelmed, stressed, anxious and every other feeling that just about put me over the edge. Then Jon entered the equation. I reached out to him in a desperate state on a Sunday afternoon and he immediately begin to brainstorm and put together options. Jon quickly brought multiple options to the table. We landed on a place that was absolutely perfect for mom, at a budget she could afford. Jon also helped me negotiate down some significant admin fees during the application process. All of this was at no charge to myself. That’s right, this company has contracts or deals worked out with the facility’s, so I received all this help for absolutely free. Give them a call, I promise you will not regret!

Jon is amazing he not only returned our call quickly but he also did it on a Sunday. In less than 24 hours he got hospice to come out and help my mother in-law set up with hospice care and with all her equipment she needed. When the hospital wouldn't do anything to help us get it set up. The people that he works with are also really great people.

Rex is simply amazing! He will make your journey of transitioning your loved one easier. Rex has a depth of knowledge of the industry that is unparalleled, and his compassion is great.He is there to support but not to pressure. Rex was extremely helpful in assisting us to find the right fit for my mom when we decided we weren't happy with her former residence. He went with us to tour two of the options, helped ask questions about services and staffing and asked about any "specials" the facility might be able to offer us. He knows the senior housing market and knows many of the people who work in this industry. Since all of the children live far away from KC, it saved us a lot of time, energy and stress to take advantage of Rex's knowledge and expertise! Thank you, Rex!
