My mother lived at Benton House for 4+ years. The staff at Benton House of Blue Springs was truly wonderful and caring of the residents. There has been a huge turnover since the facility was bought by Heritage and renamed Sage Grove. And the billing has been a nightmare since that time. Her rent and care was handled by ETF. The first month Sage Grove was in charge they took not only mothers charges from her bank account, but also another residents rent and care. They apologized and attempted to fix it but the next month they also took another residents charges from mother's account. Mom passed away in April, Sage grove is still "working on this issue" as os September. We have been reduced to involving the State Attorney Generals office to help clear this up. All I can say is watch your loved ones bank statements closely.

Impossible to get any receipts, billing statements or financial records to file the final tax return of our recently deceased mother, despite being the trustees of her estate.<br>What are they hiding??<br>Instead you get the run around and told that you have to contact their new corporate handlers but they cannot even give you the phone number or even the name of it. Then they make up some story that the records are gone because of the merger. They also told us to hire an expensive lawyer to subpoena a simple receipt needed to file the final tax return. We already missed the deadline and had to file for a six month extension. Time to alert the IRS of their secretive business practices so that they can audit them instead of us<br>Not the kind of confused place with a non supportive staff that I would ever want to be housed in

They take good care of my mom. The staff that work here make it a fun and safe environment. They comfort patients like my mom who has dementia and get confused when she can’t remember why she can’t go home.
