My mom currently resides in the memory care unit at Canterfield, and I can honestly say this is the happiest she has been in a very long time. That alone speaks volumes. She is very sensitive to how people treat her, and if she feels disrespected, she will absolutely react. While no facility is perfect, I truly appreciate that management always listens, responds quickly, and works hard to resolve concerns and improve the quality of care.<br>One of the things I appreciate most, is how accessible the staff and management team respond. Even late at night, when I have concerns, someone is usually available and responsive. Issues are addressed quickly and professionally, and I have consistently seen strong follow-through from management, nursing, med techs, and caregivers.<br>The nurses are caring, compassionate, and attentive, and most of the caregivers are incredibly humble and kind.<br>Overnight care, which is often one of my biggest concerns in any facility, has been exceptional for my mom. Staff regularly check on her throughout the night, and overall she is very well cared for.<br>Of course, occasional glitches happen anywhere, but what matters to me is how quickly and seriously concerns are handled. I truly feel that the staff wants residents to be safe, comfortable, and treated with dignity.<br>I would absolutely recommend Canterfield to families looking for memory care in this area. I’m very grateful for the care and support they provide for my mom every day.
