We have a very close family friend staying at the fully assisted wing for Over 2 months . I have to say just for starters He is a very picky patient. But they really knew how to accommodate all his needs . Great staff from Mrs Lucadano to Joyce and all the therapist . The entire staff is well trained and very knowledgeable. Everyone portrayed Great attitudes as well as bed side manners . I would highly recommend Canterbury Towers Daniel D

My grandmother needed to go into rehab/skilled nursing for a few weeks following surgery on her hip and femur. I was told by many Canterbury is the preferred facility for this type of care and I’m grateful they could accept her because that was absolutely the case. The facility is clean, comfortable, safe and conveniently located with ample parking. Naturally, it was a stressful and challenging time, but both Kim and Joyce were immensely helpful while navigating all of the necessary logistics and emotions. The care team was exceptional, both patient and attentive. Liza, Gabe and Gloria are all incredibly skilled nurses and I would happily trust myself or a loved one to their care again.

OMG! Canterbury Towers Rehab was just simply AMAZING! My siblings and I had to search high and low for the perfect rehab facility for our Mother "Mrs. Annie" to go to after her surgery in May 2024. From the minute we pulled in to the secured gated tower that faced the ocean on Bayshore Boulevard, we were greeted by the parking gate security person, to the valet gentleman at the main entrance, to the beautiful foyer entryway, to the front desk security/receptionist who contacted the Health rehab area who Ms. Gwen and her trainee greeted us in their uniform with the Canterbury Crest with a professional warm smile and greeting, that I knew we had found the best facility for our mother. They then introduced us to the Social Worker Director, Ms. Joyce Mitchell, who had been hands on from that point onward to answer, support, and be attentive to ALL of our mother's rehab care for the month that our mother was there after the transport of our mother from the hospital to this beautiful, elegant, very clean, friendly, loving, and caring facility. While my mother was there, she had a medical issue that required her to go to the emergency room. Without hesitation that Ms. Mitchell and my mother's nurse, Ms. Candis, has contacted our family as soon as they saw my mother's situation getting worse and we then approved of them sending my mother immediately back to the hospital E.R.. Ms. Joyce Mitchell, Nurse Candis, and the Canterbury Staff kept in touch with our mother's progress during her three day hospital stay and expertly coordinated my mother's return back to her room at Canterbury. Once my mother returned, I cannot begin to tell you how compassionate, caring, and professional the entire staff was in our mother's overall rehab and care from the nurses, CNA's, Food service, housekeeping, doctors, staff, security, front office, rehab staff, the daily exciting and fun activities, and even the beautiful views surrounding the building and in the interior of the overall facility that was always kept immaculate. Oh, another surprising aspect was that all of their meals were practically gourmet that my mother truly enjoyed due to she is an excellent cook and very particular about what she ate. Hats off to the food service staff and thanks for having my mother feel special and doing such an outstanding job. Overall, I see why Canterbury Towers is always booked and sought after. I have to truly thank God that my mother was able to do her rehab at Canterbury Towers to a point that I wouldn't mind staying in my latter years in the upper residential retirement units on the upper levels of Canterbury that I think the Health Center on site where my mother stayed for rehab is inclusive for the friendly residents. Again, I have to thank Ms. Joyce Mitchell the social worker Director, Ms. Gwen the activities coordinator, Ms. Miriam, the MDS Coordinator & her staff, Mr. Jeff, the Physical Therapist Director & his staff, Ms. Candis, Ms. Cristania, Ms. Veronica, Ms. Sophie, Ms. Lisandra, Ms. Maddy and ALL of the staff at Canterbury for having my mother and us feel like family. We love them all so much! Yes, if there's an opening at Canterbury, then I highly recommend this place to everyone. If I could give them 1000 stars instead of 5, then I would. BTW, my mother is making excellent progress with thanks to the dynamic rehab staff at Canterbury Towers. May God continue to bless and keep everyone at Canterbury Towers. Ms. Vivian B.
