I visited a friend there and about 8 patients were in the hallway in their wheelchairs with no stimulation, just the wall to look at. I hope there are activities or interactions to help pass the time. I was also surprised to see 3 patients/beds per room. And the rooms are fairly small. I imagine the ratios of patients to nurses / aides are such that patients cannot be attended do as would best suit their needs. Too bad the place cannot hire more staff to meet the need.

My dad has been at this facility about a month & a half. While it’s a bit understaffed, we have had a good experience with how clean the facility is & how kind & well-intentioned the staff are. I have to give credit to those I have witnessed go above & beyond on many occasions. Wally in PT, Lorena a Wound Care Nurse & Nurse Cynthia have been instrumental in my dad’s slow, but steady progress. While I felt guilty not bringing him directly home after the hospital, this place reminds me of how much professional care he truly needs to have a shot at getting back on his feet. Overall, this place is wonderful & our family is appreciative.

Hello, I'm Gloria Buell, I've been here for 4 years after a stroke. I'm doing very well now. I think the activities are needed because there are so many elderly that love the coloring, the painting, the exercise, etc. It keeps them occupied, this some of them don't have any family, so activities are important. Otherwise they'd be sitting in their room all day. Residents also get to build friendships with each other, which I think is very important as well.

My stay was Great and I would recommend that if you want a place that is excellent in Physical Therapy this is the place to be!
