They only wanted to help my brother when they thought he would need longterm care and not just rehab. They called and asked very personal financial information which should never be discussed over the phone. I thought they were scammers at first. If he had needed longterm care, they would have come after his house to pay medicade. this was very upsetting, if they had gotten their way, my disabled niece and my brother would have been homeless.

While recovering from a coma I spent time at this rehab in 2025. My defibrillator shocked me 23 times while laying in bed and the nurse insisted I did not have one and told me to go back to sleep refusing to call 911. After I screamed for help and the staff doctor was notified they called 911 and told them I was having chest pain (which was a lie). There seemed to be urgency once the paramedics arrived but upon arriving at Christiana Hospital I was placed in the Cardiac ICU. I’ve had a pacemaker/defibrillator for 9 years prior. No apology, nothing. HORRIBLE facility!

My mother was there for almost 6 months. I have visited many rehabilitation centers and Cadia Pike Creek is superior. The place is clean, the staff are professional and friendly. When my mother arrived she was unable to walk. The team worked on a program of rehabilitation that helped her learn to walk again. I give this place 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our Aunt received awful care. She had to wait over an hour for someone to to answer her call button. She got PT for a couple of hours m -f. When they returned her to her room they left her sitting in a worn out wheel chair that had no support. Her shoulders, back and hips would ache. Again she would wait over 2 hrs for someone to come get her out. The rest of the time they kept her in bed. We did inform them that her skin was very thin, not to grab her but they didn't listen. When we removed her she has scabs on her left legs and a huge one on the right. We DO NOT recommend this facility to anyone. She never got a shower, they only gave her sponge bath once a week. It was aweful!!! Please do your research and visit the facility. They may talk the talk but there is no work the work. They claimed they were short staffed but after speaking to someone who worked for the company that owns the facility, they only do what is necessary to barely reach state guidelines. Most of the employees who are to assist the patients have no patience, on their phones or yacking with another employee. Family members would walk to the desk for a cup of water, 4 workers at the desk just sitting around yacking instead they called someone for assistance. How hard is it to get a cup of water. There were 4 at the workers at the desk. It's awful when people don't want to do little over and above their position.

I came to Cadia about 4 weeks ago after suffering a compressed fracture to a vertebra. I I was in a lot of pain. I have a lovely room and the entire staff is amazing. After therapy twice a day, I’m ready to return to my apartment at the Summit. This is not my first visit to a rehab facility. It is however undoubtedly the best. The aides, nurses, therapists are knowledgeable and have made me feel part of the team to get me back on my feet. A major difference is it’s a happy place. Everyone helps each other. I would give it 10 stars if I could. If you need rehab and want to be in a happy, efficient place come here! I even just celebrated my 95th Birthday here!
