This has got to be one of the worse rehab centers in the area. Therapy is great, but that’s it!!! Waiting for over 3 hours to go to the bathroom that you can’t use by yourself. Waiting until after 1200 to get your morning medication AND waiting until after shift change to the night shift to get your nighttime medications. Someone answers the light when you call for help and they say, “I have to get some help, I’ll be right back.” 2-3 hours later they might come back. Call light goes on, staff comes it, turns off the call light without addressing the issue. Call light goes back on, staff comes in and turns it off, AGAIN, repeat!!!So much for helping people when they’re sick, in pain and need help. Day shift is ok, PM shift not so good, Night shift down right sucks!!! I thought night shift was the best shift, not there!!!! It’s sad 😢

This place is great 😃 I have had such good times here. The staff is wonderful and very skilled. The physical rehab is awesome. They're doing a great job rehabilitating my injury. I heard this is the one of the best places to go for physical therapy and I agree. The nurses and CNA's are wonderful. This is a non judgemental atmosphere. I have met some exceptionally wonderful people. I will never forget the good times here. Thank you for your help and skills.

This place is a disgusting nightmare for anyone forced to stay here. The facility is filthy. Community shower rooms are rarely cleaned properly. Frequently feces is left on the floor. MRSA is in the building. Most of the staff does not do their job unless state inspectors are in the building. When you press a call light you can expect a 1 hour wait before staff answers it. Patients will end up with bed sores because they will be left lying in their urine & feces for hours at a time. Most that are bedridden will die of sepsis because of not getting cleaned up properly. Frequently there are no clean linens available for CNAs to be able to keep Patients clean & dry. You have to beg for water and will be lucky if you get 1 cup in a shift. Some of the CNAs pride themselves on making Patients miserable. Some nurses regularly don't show up on time for their shift so meds aren't given on schedule. There are so many agency people that meds aren't ordered when they run out so they take them from other patients. This is totally illegal but management doesn't care. The good staff end up getting run out by the rotten ones who bully them. The food is disgusting and rarely edible. People bring in dogs to visit & the dogs won't eat the food. Personal belongings & money get stolen by staff all the time. Some patient's family members will bring in food, clothes, diapers & linens which get stolen as well. Some staff treat every thing like its community property. The lifts used to get patients out of bed frequently have dead batteries which is the staffs excuse for not caring for patients. Management will harass patients openly in front of other patients for money. They prey on the mentality disabled and people with dementia. Proper medical care is not given. You will be charged for services, medical supplies and medication that is never received. Champion Care runs this horrible facility. They shouldn't be allowed to operate in this state at all.

The Bay at Burlington is truly a wonderful rehabilitation center. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and supported. They were extremely helpful, supportive, and so sweet throughout the entire process. Their kindness and professionalism made a stressful time so much easier, and they went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The care here is excellent, and it’s clear that the team truly cares about their patients. Highly recommend The Bay to anyone looking for quality rehab care in a compassionate environment!!!
