Moving a loved one into assisted living is one of the hardest decisions you can make. About a year and a half ago, I moved an elderly friend, Roger—who had no local family—into Arbor View Assisted Living. At the time, I worried endlessly about whether he would fit in or if I was making the move "too soon."<br><br>Looking back, moving him to Arbor View was an absolute godsend.<br><br>Roger blossomed there. He was a well-educated, well-spoken gentleman who came to love his fellow residents so much that he became the facility’s unofficial ambassador. But what truly sets Arbor View apart and makes it such a special place is its extraordinary staff. They provided a level of warmth, dignity, and personal care that made the last chapter of Roger’s life deeply meaningful and comfortable.<br><br>Every single team member goes above and beyond:<br><br>Phyllis at the front desk always greets everyone with warmth and kindness.<br><br>Michelle, the administrator, leads with compassion and exceptional dedication.<br><br>Kelly in activities keeps residents engaged, connected, and full of purpose.<br><br>Ed in facilities keeps everything running seamlessly.<br><br>Ashley in the kitchen brings so much care to the meals and dining experience. Roger did not eat ANYTHING with chicken and the kitchen staff always asked ahead of time what they make him for that meal.<br><br>Maria, Dave and all of the others in resident care treat residents with endless patience, respect, and heart.<br><br>Laura in admissions made the transition smooth, reassuring, and stress-free from day one.<br><br>Roger passed away recently, and I take immense comfort in knowing that his final chapter was spent surrounded by people who genuinely cared for him like family.<br><br>If you are considering assisted living for a loved one, please do not wait or hesitate.
